One Of The Worst Laws Ever Created The Minimum Wage is Up For Debate in Saskatchewan: NDP Leader Ryan Meili commits to destroying Saskatchewan Economy – October 12, 2020,
Because the Government doesn’t want to appear incompetent, the government often looks for soft targets, the private sector is obviously a soft target, and being that NDP Leader and Canadian physician Ryan Meili who is only 45 as of the time of this writing clearly saw politics as a more lucrative venture than being a Doctor, a higher minimum wage at someone else’s expense is good chance for Ryan Meili to become popular?
One of the main reasons Alberta has the problems it has was the short-sightedness of their minimum wage. Albert was late to the higher minimum wage party, because Alberta, prefers a higher valued loonie. Canada attracts more talent, which is good for our social safety nets if we’re able to attract top tier talent to our a great nation.
However, Canada has a socialism problem, so the opposite is true in Canada today, we actually have a brain drain problem and this brain drain exists primarily because the Leftists in our country are short-sighted. Now, if Ryan Meili really cared about the poor and working-class, he’d abolish provincial income taxes
One of the reasons a lot of Canadians move to America is not only the higher valued U.S dollar, but it’s also that some U.S States have 0% income tax. Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, and Texas have no state income taxes and it’s been a net benefit to these States because it allows their private sectors to flourish.
A flourishing private sector equates to a better social safety net. Now, it’s no secret that when most countries are looking for investment, what they do is cut taxes and cut regulations, this common sense, if you’ve been brainwashed into believing that raising taxes is good for the poor, well you’re short-sighted.
As an example, the richest Caribbean island is The Bahamas, take a wild guess as to one of the reasons why The Bahamas is the richest Caribbean island? If you guessed because the Bahama doesn’t have income taxes, you’d be correct!
Now, one of the reasons I know personally the IQ debate doesn’t hold up in economics is because The Bahamas as an example is 85% Black, whereas Trinidad is only 40% of Trinidad is Black. The Bahamas so far hasn’t embraced Socialism and big government which has benefited their people greatly. Most countries with Black and Latin majorities tend to embrace socialist ideas like the ones Ryan Meili advocates for and this often leads to economic destruction.
I bring this up primarily because 15% of Saskatchewan’s ethnic makeup is First Nations and it’s often the Liberals and the NDP destroying the lives of these people with these disgraceful, regressive regulations. Furthermore these confiscatory ideas like the higher minimum wage that Ryan Meili is pushing for help to push the narrative of WHITE SUPREMACY.
When most people who don’t understand economics hear that the government can raise wages, the first thought that comes to mind is what took them so long? You mean these oppressive white business people could pay us more and they were holding out because the government didn’t force them too?
Democratic socialism historically leads to National Socialism, the United workers party ignorant to the facts of market economy, deemed it wise that big government take over the nation and kill the oppressors because the people had been brainwashed by people like Ryan Meili who told them that the government could do things without consequence.
When the government plays these wage and price control games, the people hardest hit are the poor, because instead of a higher minimum wage, what the people are left with are fewer companies hiring. When the government tinkers with rental controls, it leads o fewer developers building rental housing. Why, does this happen you ask? Well, it happens for the same reason Ryan Meili choose Politics or being a FULL-TIME physician.
Why work hard and get harrassed and pimped out by the government when I can take my talents and my business somewhere else. Also, business people think in the same way employees think. To avoid higher taxation a lot of employees, won’t work overtime, well, to avoid higher taxation, most Canadian businesses intentionally won’t grow and won’t hire more staff! Why work harder if you’re going to be punished for it?
The NDP is bankrupt for a reason!
