81st-richest person Israeli billionaire businessman Idan Ofer and his wife Batia Ofer stepped down from a Harvard board over its response to the Hamas attacks (Let’s Talk About Freedom of Speech) – October 16, 2023

It’s not until it hits home! For most individuals, unfortunately, they fail to comprehend why some of us are freedom of speech absolutists.

Free speech absolutists believe that any limitation on political speech is veering into dangerous territory. They believe that restricting free speech in any way, including curbing insulting or factually incorrect speech, means assigning gatekeepers who decide what can and cannot be expressed in public.

Harvard has been attacking Conservative speech for a very, very long time. When you’re a Conservative or REPUBLICAN, you’re big on following “THE LAW.” Of course, freedom of speech isn’t perfect; of course, people are going to ABUSE their freedom of speech rights, but what’s the opposite of free speech, and please define “perfectly regulated speech?”

Screaming fire in a crowded theater should be banned, you say? Well, what if I argue that we live in a litigious society and private property owners have a responsibility when someone shouts FIRE in a crowded theatre? Should I be CENSORED for pushing back on ANY narrative I disagree with? A lot of people could die if someone shouts “fire” in a crowded theatre, maybe young children die. Should free speech be banned because this could happen?

I’m not sure when Idan and Batia Ofer joined this Harvard Board, but I’ve been hearing about a lot of racist and hateful things being spewed from Harvard that were often rewarded by Harvard leadership.

But I guess because those prior issues did not personally harm or effect them, they were okay with it. Personally, I always think young people, especially young people that haven’t seen death or torture in real life, will say all sorts of things they don’t understand.

He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

A lot of children are SPOILED and have very little real-life experience; they haven’t been penalized for anything they’ve said in their lives, so they imagine themselves as superior.

You might think that I’m writing about the students exclusively, but I’m writing about a lot of the teachers and individuals in leadership positions at Harvard.

I’m definitely no spring chicken, and I grew up with a lot of spoiled, entitled brats way back then when I was growing up; Those same spoiled children are adults today, some of them in powerful influential LEADERSHIP positions and I can only imagine how many of these children today are being raised by the spoiled brats I grew up with, whether at home or in Universities.

It’s not a shocker to me that people born after the 1960s have these twisted concepts of free speech, do research on a lot of these PARENTS and educators and you’ll see a life of PRIVEDGE and entitlement, and now these SPOILED children are in charge of Harvard, many of them amassing a lot of wealth.

If you’re imagining that these spoiled adults aren’t going to pass their behavioral patterns onto those they influence, you’re wrong. A lot of the leaders in Harvard are spoiled brats, and most of these “leaders” in Harvard don’t have the SKILLS to lead effectively.

The reason why this happened at Harvard, why these pro-Hamas opinions exist is because the teachers DO NOT push back against political narratives of the more AGGRESSIVE students.

Universities now have SAFE SPACES; while you’re being educated, this is time to PREPARE you for the HARSH realities of the world. Freedom of speech is a HARD reality. One of the reasons why Black Americans in the 1950s-1980s gained so much popularity is that EVERYONE knew the real-world battles they had to go through in the HARSH world of FREE SPEECH.

So a lot of Black Americans, like Jewish Americans, became hardened and BATTLE TESTED. But all of a sudden, you have a lot of people fighting for CENSORSHIP or censored speech, don’t say those offensive words because I don’t have any defense against it.

Now, this is where those of us with linguist skills to push back against hate speech would have the FREEDOM of speech to do it. The people who can push back against hate speech in CREATIVE ways are now being CENSORED.

Dn’t know what I’m talking about it; think about COMEDY, look how BLAND comedy is today, why is comedy bland, because of CENSORSHIP? Comedians even when they were WRONG would present information to the mind in ways it did not expect. These narratives often pushed by comedians, helped our minds to EVOLVE.

The world of comedy is also COMPETITIVE, so you’d have one artist trying to outdo the other, and we, the audience, became the beneficiaries of knowingly acquired knowledge, which also helped ALL OF US to push back against HATE SPEECH. If you scream fire in a crowded theatre in today’s world, and the crowd catches you don’t be surprised when you get a serious ass-whopping.

Censored speech creates entitled individuals, censored speech also coincides with safe spaces, which to me is like an ECHO CHAMBER.

This is the result of regulating free speech or having free speech control by a handful of gatekeepers. Some of us take PLEASURE in destroying evil; it’s what some of us LIVE FOR, but if you censor us or turn us into the bad guys, well, then HATE SPEECH from the CHOSEN group, which in the modern media era appears to be the “Far Left” starts to FLOURISH!

Many of these Pro-Hamas protestors have never had to DEBATE their ideas or concepts because their opposition had been SILENCED by the Idan & Batia Ofer types.

I actually disagree with them stepping down. This is the time they should have been fighting for their University, but they likely stepped down because they realized what they were up against and knew they contributed to this CENSORSHIP MONSTER that would likely ANNILIATE any argument they try to bring forth.

You see, once you’re no longer a free speech absolutist, you’re in agreement with a select group of people regulating free speech, and that’s where the bureaucracy of free speech comes in. If you’re BILLIONAIRES like Idan and Batia Ofer you should have a lot of time on your hands.

But hey, the easy way to not deal with a problem is to quit while you’re ahead; this is ofcourse, a free country!
