A quick post I won’t waste to much time on, there’s another banking text messaging spammer to report on, this time the spammer is using the w3-fd4-as.com domain name. The w3-fd4-as.com domain name is currently using a fraudulent phone number. Now, below is the message the spammed me with, if you see this message don’t confuse the scotiabank.ca portion to being an actual scotiabank.ca website, actually the website is called w3-fd4-as.com and it’s fraudulent.

Scotiabank security system has detected some unusual activity. Please verify your identity in order to avoid suspension.
scotiabank.ca.w3-fd4-as.com/s

Basically that’s it, this needs no more attention, w3-fd4-as.com is a scam, scotiabank.ca.w3-fd4-as.com/s is the not scotiabank.ca it’s actually w3-fd4-as.com/s, the scotiabank.ca.w3-fd4-as.com/s portion is intentionally used to be deceptive, so don’t believe it or fall for their scam, furthermore if you have any problems with your scotiabank bank account contact scotiabank directly by phone or in their branch.
