TeleTech Review – Is it a scam?

TeleTech, a company which you can check out at HirePoint.com,  is a Business Process Outsourcing company. It’s another work at home opportunity that anyone could try. It provides telecommuting part time job opportunities to those who would like to work within the comfort of their own home.

More about TeleTech

The convenience and the reduction in cost has paved way for many companies to outsource their services to employees who’d like to work in their home. The practicality of this aspect has also gave way to a rising number of population who prefer to work online. However, this phenomenon has also resulted to a surge of work-at-home job offers that aren’t really legit.

There are job offers posted online that require the applicant or trainee to pay a certain amount to undergo a certain training. This what sets TeleTech different from these companies. Aside from being an independent company itself, TeleTech doesn’t charge its applicants to pay for the training they provide. What’s more, it has legit job offers that pay twice weekly.

How TeleTech Works

TeleTech provides a number of telecommute job opportunities including those in the field of customer service and back office processing (i.e. financial transactions, social media management). To get started with TeleTech, you must first ensure that you have the necessary equipment for the training and the job itself.

The company requires its applicants to have a dedicated home office free from any form of distraction. You should also have a personal computer, stable internet connection, and a landline for work purpose only.

Each applicant of the company is subjected to a series of skills-based tests. Once you’ve passed these tests, you will be trained by the company on your job functions. You will not be receiving a salary not until you’re done with the training period. Pay is based per hour and will be given twice in a week.

Final thoughts on TeleTech

Before you apply for a job in TeleTech, make sure that the company operates in your state. As of this writing, this BPO company is not available in 8 out of 50 states of the country and is only available in Nova Scotia in Canada. Also, before applying, you must be sure to commit yourself to a fixed working schedule. While homebased jobs have its perks, it’s not a walk in the park. After all, it’s still a job.
