DealDash.com Review Is It a Scam
Compared to some of the other penny auction websites i’ve reviewed DealDash.com does a good job with transparency. At the top of their front page they clearly show the important aspects of their website. The name penny auction in my opinion is very deceptive because when a user places a bid the bid placed is never 1 cent. That being said on the top right of the deal dash website it clearly states “”Each bid placed raises the price by $0.01 and costs 1 Credit($0.60/Credit)”
What this means for users of dealdash.com is that it costs $0.60 to place a bid, although the price of the item moves up by 1 cent it actually costs 60 cents to place a bid. The main reason why i personally don’t like penny auction websites is because from my perspective using a penny auction website is like walking into a store handing the cashier my money just so i can pick up bid stick and wait for my desired item to go on auction. On top of this every time i place a bid I lose money. Its almost like gambling without the cash pay off.
DealDash.com from Another perspective how Penny auctions make money
Most people think penny auctions make money from the bids placed but in actuality they make money from people purchasing bid packs. In comparing dealdash.com to eBay.com you can see why most people would prefer eBay.com. There’s no such thing as a bid pack in eBay. There are benefits to penny auctions if a person wins but no auction website is designed to make majority of its users win. Deal Dash has a buy it now option for a reason, and most of the people who sign up will spend more money than they will make back in prizes.
Join DealDash just For Fun
This post is not intended to tell you what to do with your money. My advice if you are going to join DealDash.com is too approach it the same way you would a casino. If you win hey great if you don’t win at least you had a good time. Ive been in bidwars on eBay before and i get rush from that but what i like about eBay is that i only pay if I win. I don’t like having to pay just to play another thing i want to point out is time spent factor. Penny Auctions are not only expensive but they’re also time consuming.
If you read the top of their homepage or bid page it says “the timer bumps up to 30 seconds with each new bid” to me that’s pretty long and i could only imagine the amount of time some of you spend on that website. On that note their are some features about deal dash that i guess some people can appreciate, i just feel like the average consumer won’t be a long term subscriber to penny auction websites. Everyday a new penny auction website pops up and everyday another is shut down it should be interesting to see how deal dash survives the test of time.

Beware I was out 160.00 dollars bidding on a tv, during that last 3 seconds the deal dash temporarily went off line and of course that was a great waist of time after 5 hours more or less of bidding the sight goes off line and there was no way to get back on it, and yes ever thing else worked fine.I saved the sight when it crashed so I have that on file as well. I have ask for a refund of my money and as well they have profiles fixed and you can see who the lucky people are the same bidders over and over. They have great team work and are getting rich off people trying to get a good deal. I did send a e-mail and was told I could have 25 bucks back to bid with and I had more than that left when the sight went down. If you do try this just be careful and go for the small items that you might get lucky and win!
stay away from any penny auction site including swipebids, bidcactus beezid, amazon ash swoopbids etc they all are a rippoff for most bidders. you will lose your bids even if you dont win the auction. stay with repetible sites like ebay or amazon, I have never had a problem with anazon bi\ut i have had 2 problems with ebay since 2001 and they were quickly resolved! Ebay is by far my favorite auction site. you cannot go wrong with them two and they have been around for quite a while now
I bid on several deal dash items .I was waiting to place a bid at the last two seconds and the bid ended with 8 seconds on the clock and the item was awarded to the bidder with the last bid. This happened to me twice.I placed a bid on one item and my bid was not accepted and the auction was won by another person. You have to bid on a item before the bid reaches $5.00 or you cannot bid on the item,if you do not constantly place a bid then you cannot win the auction. You cannot wait untill the clock gets to two seconds, the closer the auction is to ending the less time you have to bid. You will lose money on deal dash.
You are a phucking idiot for participating in penny auction to begin with. Comparing one site to another islike trying to decide the smarter of two stupids. You’re an idiot for participating. I’d rather gamble at the casino, you have much more control. Again, you are an idiot, plain an simple. The whole concept of a penny auction is moronic.
A family member paid their $36.00 sign up fee or something, and has NOT been able to even use the site! Additionally, all efforts and correspondence have been in vain! I have been researching this company to try and help and have found NOTHING good about it! It is merely an expensive gambling game in which you lose way more than you can win. If you actually read the small print within the terms of agreement, it actually tells you that you will spend more than you save! I recommend that you use reputable auction sites like Amazon and EBay! If it seems too good to be true, then it probably is!!!
I won items back in october and I am still waiting to recieve them. Customer service is non exsistant. Paypal is completely useless I had to file with my actual credit card company to get anywhere. My suggestion is stay far away from this site It seemed like a good deal at first when I won I mistakenly thought I got christmas cheap with stuff I won. Instead I paid out a lot of money and then still had to go out and buy gifts. I still have not recieved my stufff I won in october 2012 and its now jan 2013
SCAM! RUN, don’t’ walk. I opened my account with $500. Won two auctions and still had over $300 in my account. Became very bored with site & wanted MY MONEY returned and they refused and STOLE MY MONEY.
