Austerity Measures Are Definitely Needed In Canada: Ottawa mandates public servants to return to office 2 to 3 days per week by April 2023😲, Some Public Servants in Canada are still working from home😲 – December 16, 2022,
If it’s one thing Justin Trudeau has done for me is confirmed how flawed Canada’s current democracy is; Justin Trudeau reigning as Prime minister in many ways revolves around VOTE BUYING. Justin Trudeau is blatant with his vote buying, and he’s won 3 elections because of it. Currently, support for Justin Trudeau is dwindling, but Justin, always the optimist, recently pointed out that the people of Mississauga, Ontario, voted for a Liberal candidate to represent them in Ontario Canada.

Canada’s Federal government is very big if you include crown corporations and entities dependent on the government for their survival; the Canadian government is likely larger than the private sector. Now, if the private sector wants to pay people to stay home, that’s one thing. Still, suppose the Canadian government, which is running a trillion-dollar deficit and GROWING with less than 40 million people, is paying people an ABOVE market wage with above-market benefits to stay home. In that case, that’s a clear sign that shrinking the Canadian government will be less painful.

Canada has the most potential for explosive growth coming out of a depression. Suppose any politician recognizes all the bloat Justin Trudeau has caused. In that case, there will likely be a lot of government workers who will be fired as soon as Trudeau loses, and this, again is why economic depressions get extended.
I remind readers that during the Great Depression in the United States, Franklin Delano Roosevelt(FDR), the man who made the depression worse, won elections in a LANDSLIDE. As people got poorer because of central banks and Big governments, they also became dependent and desperate. In the modern era, even a lot of BUSINESSES are government-dependent.

I’m not on Twitter; I’m not a fan of Elon Musk; Elon Musk in my world is a WELFARE BILLIONAIRE; Tesla Inc. is 100% reliant on government subsidies I don’t even know if there’s a real business there. Elon Musk has been cashing out stock and paying some ridiculous tax rates; why? Because most of his income is derived via MALINVESTMENTS via government subsidies.
Before you pick on Elon, be warned that many companies in Canada would be BANKRUPT without government regulations that afford them monopolies in the private sector. The media outlets I point to in this post required a BAILOUT; it’s hard to even consider these media companies PRIVATE.
What I will say in defense of Justin Trudeau is that a lot of bad rules and regulations existed long before Justin Trudeau became Prime minister, however, the problem with Justin Trudeau is that he’s added layers of even worse regulations on Canadian economic activity, which is likely going to lead to depression if it’s not reversed.
