bidooka review is it a Scam

bidooka.com review is it a Scam

Penny auctions are big business and the list of penny auction websites continues to grow daily, in my personally opinion its a much better idea to become the owner of a penny auction website instead of being member that’s one of the main reasons i’m not a fan of the penny auction business. When signing up for Bidooka.com or any penny auction website for that matter its a good idea to see how much it costs to place a bid. Placing bids and shipping and handling charges are just a couple of the ways these penny auctions make their money.

bidooka.com Costs and Strategies

It costs .60 cents to place a bid at bidooka.com not a penny so when or if you purchase a bid pack be careful on how you bid and when you bid. If you’re going to sign up i wouldn’t get too excited at first what i would do is pay attention to how many people are bidding on your item and watch it until there are only few people bidding maybe two and then make your move of course you have to watch the timer but by allowing everyone else to bid first you save money.

Remember unlike eBay it costs you REAL money to place bid(.60 cents per bid), so why bid early wait be patient let everyone else bid first then when things start to calm down make your move. Another thing, don’t just make your move you should also keep a bidooka final price number in your head that you are willing to spend. Personally i like to compare penny auction websites to a  mixture of casino’s and chucky e cheese. That being said the idea behind gambling is to have fun. Of course we know many people become addicts but the idea is suppose to be to have fun

I say this mainly because in a penny auction website there will be more losers than winners, and unlike eBay.com the losers not only lose their time but they can also lose their money. I’ve participated in bid wars at eBay before and lost it was a real rush but when i lost i only lost the time i invested. Only the winner had to pay for the price of the item as the loser in that instance i didn’t pay anything. That being said eBay is not perfect either but at least i didn’t get charged to place a bid.

My final thoughts on Bidooka.com

Personally in my opinion if you are going to sign up for Bidooka.com i recommend paying using Paypal just in case any payment issues arise you can contact paypal i hear stories about allot of penny auction websites and most of the stories consist of payment related issues. Paypal gives the consumer a voice that’s why i recommend them. Although I don’t think Bidooka.com is a scam i don’t recommend joining them or any other penny auction website.

The prices shown are illusions even though the price of the item goes up by 1 cent the consumers are actually paying 60 cents to bid i’m sure you can do the math, If you want to try your luck go ahead just don’t say i didn’t warn you

Please leave your comments or your experience with Bidooka.com below your comments help others in their decision making process.

got caught in purchasing a number of bids. My fault. Huge scam as far as I’m concerned. Don’t ever get involved. What a scam. They have nothing but junk and the ipad as a baiter. Probably sell most things far a large margin more than worth.

I purchaced bidooka bid pack and invested a good amount of money. I did some basic research but my whole point was to try it for fun. I didn’t believe it till I got my iphone-4 and 2 ipod shuffler and a number of bargains (I won total 10 auctions).
I know its difficult to make out who is fake or who is real, but I guess its more legitimate compared to other penny auction websites because the pricing is way low and there are chances of winning. Of course you need to have strategy to win.
I have seen ppl bidding like crazy, and investing alot of bids just to scare off opponents. but at the same time others are waiting wisely. 🙂
I am not saying that you should try it. All I am saying I didnt find it a scam. Infact it feels good to see my name on Penny Auction Bidooka hall of fame 🙂

I must say as per my research I found bidooka much much better than other penny auction sites.

I completely agree with Nishant. Even I won some auctions at bidooka.

Before signing up for bidooka, I did google some other penny auction websites, but I found bidooka the best.

What makes bidding at Bidooka a wonderful experience along with having fun and more chances to win are:
    1. Gives free bids when you register.
    2. Have a control on the time(No auctions between 10pm-4am) and limited number of auctions that can be won in 24 hours which keeps you away from having an addiction.
    3.Prompt customer service.
4.Each bid cost you less than other penny auction websites.

If you guys want to try your luck and want high quality products at low cost and also want to save money on great items. This site offers you a fare chance to win nail bitting deals all the time, then I would suggest you to create an account with Bidooka.com.
I am using this website for more than 6 months now and I really enjoy bidding at Bidooka.com.
I have won many prizes till now.
The best part of bidooka.com is that they really care about their bidders. That is why, there is no bidding between 10.00 pm-4.00 pm(PDT). This allows bidder to take some sleep.
Also in the interest of being fair to all users and improve your chances of winning they do have win limits which is 2 per day
Also, they have some rules which are really beneficial for the bidders and helps bidders from not having an addiction of gambling.
Most importantly, it gives 5 or 10 free bids when you register with them. Isn’t that cool?

Won my first auction. So far it has been relatively cheap entertainment with the possibility of winning some good products at a good price.

I would say this used to be a good site but not anymore. I will NOT recommend it to anyone now.

Like its claimed for most of the penny auction sites that they have automated bidders who just come up when they want to rob the other person. With bidooka its a different story. It seems like its having some kind of other way to rob users (I won’t completely agree with automated system).

Doesn’t it look like all the comments are already framed?

Anyways I am more pissed because of the unfriendly response for one of the item bought by bidooka. First Its been already 4 months since the auticon took place. Bidooka claims to ship the item within 7-21 days. After exchanging almost 20-25 emails there is still no news for my item.

They keep saying it will be shipped in a couple of days. I have been provided a wrong tracking number once, after that I have been told that they are waiting for refund from the vendor.. why should I be waiting for the refund from vendor? I have paid amount in full at the same time. I am not even getting compensated for it. What if vendor doesnt refund, in that case I wont get my shipment?

I have been constantly trying to mail them, finally there is no response for almost a week. I have decided to go to consumer court now.

There are no good auctions available, and all those things you can get from amazon (of course even if you win or buy the items will be shipped from amazon only). So stay away from hassel and fraud, just save money and buy from amazon directly.

Its a complete waste of time and money. Even after investing time and money, its more frustating when you have to follow up endlessly for one item. I am regretting now that I should have bought it from amazon or any store 4 months back, atleast I could have used it.

    STAY AWAY FROM BIDOOKA!

    UPDATE:
I called up Bidooka a few times and everytime I have been told that I will get a call back. I never recieved any call back.
Finally I was able to get hold of one supervisor and she was so rude. I cant beileve any customer care being so rude. She said it blank – You have to wait!
I have been waiting for more than 12 weeks already and she is asking me to wait for another 3 weeks. But there is no gurantee that I will get my item even after that.
I wish if I could have told them to WAIT for the money which they wanted right oever there.
First a wrong tracking number. after that telling me to wait for another couple of days. after that ignoring my calls and emails. and now saying “you dont have any option, you need to wait”. WHAT THE HELL!

I am logging a complaint against them in the consumer court! hope that will teach a lesson to such a rude customer care and I believe may be many ppl will be saved becoming a victim of this.

    UPDATE:
Its been 4 months but still there are no whereabouts of my shipment. I have contacted several times through phone (I dont get replies for my emails anymore) and customer service is saying “we cant do anything you have to wait”.
Everytime there is an excuse about some vendor, which I dont understand why I am responsible for conflicts with vendor?
Anyways I am pursuing it with consumer court now.
