Canadian judge rules, Lawn signs for Ezra Levant book “The Libranos” were illegal election ads – The lawn signs in my opinion, were not a good Promotional idea during election time – January 1, 2023

I like The Rebel, currently found at RebelNews.com, they’re a good source of alternative news for Canadians. They’re a grassroots news organization that has to build their company WITHIN their budget, so for example you won’t find Canadians going to RebelNews for the weather or sports.

In Canada they focus on news for Canadians, with that said, I didn’t think their “The Libranos” Lawn signs were a good idea. In Canada, during election time, you’ll find all sorts of Lawn Signs PROMOTING a particular politician, and because Liberals Banner is often Red and the “The Libranos” lawn signs were red with a few of Trudeau’s Cabinet ministers at the time plastered on it, I can see how a judge, could consider it election interference.

Would I have ruled it as election interference, no, but I have to put myself in the place of Ezra and the position of the judge. Ezra Levant is a great marketer I admire the man, and personally I don’t think the “The Libranos” lawn signs helped sell his book, if anything, it likely angered the Liberal Party, which likely got a high price lawyer, to find a section in the law, that allowed the Judge to tie, “The Libranos” lawn signs to a particular elections interference law.

Once they were able to do this legally, then they were able to tie the book itself to election interference. When you’re “The Rebel” you have to take risks that “squares” like myself do not take.

So I get why The Rebel did what it did and do think he has grounds for appeal, but personally it’s not a promotional method I would have taken, because Ezra in my opinion to take has done an excellent job building his company.

As lovers of freedom, I still think it’s my duty to voice my opinion to my fellow countrymen who provide a much needed service in Canada. I love what The Bebel do, but I don’t think the lawn sign was a good idea, Ezra is working within a budget, and I think certain types of promotion are not necessary.

Then again I have to also look at the Hamas Protests in Canada, and compare what they’re doing to what the Truckers Convoy did. The Pro-Hamas protests get little to no coverage, from the media and there’s a double standard in western world.

This appeasement approach by political leaders in the west to certain groups of people, is destroying western culture and creating a world of heightened emotions.

Interesting times ahead!
