COVID-19 Jobless Claims Reach 10+ Million in U.S, but they’ve already reached 2.13 Million in Canada! Canada only has 38 Million people! – April 3, 2020,
Now, as many people know CNN is definitely no friends of Donald Trump and even they can’t make America’s unemployment claims look worse than Canada’s. America has about 327+ million people and currently, their jobless claims in the last 2 weeks are about 10 million, I’ll even overly inflate the numbers, let’s say 90 million if America’s unemployment claims reached 30 million it still wouldn’t be as high per capita as Canada.
US unemployment report is much worse than economists predicted | CNN
In 2 weeks with far fewer deaths per capita Canada’s unemployment claims are already above 2 million claims, think about that for a second, I’d also like to remind people reading this that Canada has a lot of STATE RUN enterprises, which are not considered part of the Public Sector workforce. If you don’t understand why I’m saying that it’s because in the event there is no rebound Canada’s economy might have over 50% of its workforce more dependent on the government to survive!
Now, the problem with a big government are regulations which cause price distortions. In Canada, we have a Government organization called The Department of Canadian Heritage, in short, this Government department protects particular Crown Corporations(State Owned Enterprises) from private-sector competition.
In even easier to understand terms, prices for Canadian consumers pay more, and employees of these State-owned enterprises get paid inflated wages without the worry of competition. UPS or FedEx will never economically challenge Canada Post for delivery, and the Rebel.media will never economically challenge the CBC for access to the Canadian capital.
These systems work usually until they don’t, a lot of people like point the blame at the central bankers when they talk about why the Zimbabwean or Argentinian dollars hyper-inflated, but really that’s not the reason why their dollars hyper-inflated.
Their currencies hyper-inflated because as a country they’re a bad investment, the public servants of both Zimbabwe and Argentina are a very entitled bunch. The cost to feed those nations public sectors will cost an investor more than they can get as a return. So when those countries pay their government workforces they do so knowing that more foreign capital will flee than will remain in the country.
Now under a Gold Standard or under a monetary system tied to something tangible, ho this would work is, let’s say the money was tied to gold, well then the issuers of the countries monetary system would have to dilute the silver or Gold content. Of course in the modern era, that entire process would be inefficient, so instead governments print money and investors invest hoping that in the future, things will improve.
However, every country that engages in Socialism eventually reaches a point of no return, the point of no return however isn’t the money supply, it’s State of mind of the people. America is great and stands out primarily because there is at least 100 million Americans, who comprehend the free market and how it works!
In Canada as well as many other countries in the world, Capitalism sounds like an archaic economic system that WILL eventually be replaced with something that serves the proletariat. But if you’ll observe throughout history that the problem with Communism is as the government grows larger the proletariat(workers or working-class people) shrink in size?
Why work if the government is handing out from diluted Gold coins? sure there is more lead in the gold coin than yesterday, but there’s still a small enough amount of Gold in this coin to help me get by for the next few months, weeks or days, I’ll worry about money the next time I need it and because my government gives me the security I need, I don’t have to worry about working hard I’ll leave that daunting task to the proletariat, they seem like they like to work hard and because I’d rather do better things with my time, I’m sure as always things will simply work themselves out.
Trust me I get it, there’s this assumption by Americans, who live in America that things are a lot better in other countries, all I’m saying is I’m trying to do my best not to sound mean spirited when I write my articles! Any grammatical errors you might read in my articles are due in large part because I do this in my spare time and still need to make a living!
Consider reading the article below and a reminder again that Canada only has 38 million people, you know what let me be more optimistic, ok let me inflate the Canadian population, Canada has 50 million people, well there are 2+ million jobless claims in Canada. Think about it for a second! America, ok, America has 200 million people, let’s deflate the American population, America has 30 million jobless claims? Which country looks worse to you?
America has Donald Trump as a leader Canada has Justin Trudeau as a leader, a reminder that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet at least as of April 3, 2020, don’t see how a carbon tax in the middle of a possible recession could shrink the size of the proletariat!
