Edward Snowden is losing the best years of life, because he believes in TRANSPARENCY, so even if you disagree with him, you’d be wise to consider listening to what he has to say regarding Bitcoin.
I've been warning Bitcoin developers for ten years that privacy needs to be provided for at the protocol level. This is the final warning. The clock is ticking. https://t.co/r7w7gdrHRp

My position on the matter, the higher-ups in Bitcoin clearly want it REGULATED by the U.S. government, which is likely the reason why privacy is being ignored, because privacy in a regulated environment will lead to the government regulators wanting a backdoor, and the way Bitcoin is designed, this will problematic for it future.
If the privacy issue is NEVER addressed, everyone can point fingers, the purpose I had for Bitcoin, will never be a reality, so I consider myself an observer. I wanted to Bitcoin and crypto in general to want nothing to do with the regulators or the government, I saw Bitcoin as the people’s money, now that we have individuals CLAMMERING for regulations, to make something already viable in the marketplace, REGULATED by the government, so regulated “traders” can get involved, the writing is already on the wall for the future of Bitcoin.
Interesting times ahead
