Environmentalists Openly Promoting Marxism in Canada: Are Canadians ready to ditch GDP as a key prosperity indicator? – March 10, 2020,
In every instance of a failed State, there was a push for the Governments to have an excuse to rule like dictators, the article I point to in this post is just that, unfortunately for the persons who wrote this article, they like many other Marxists minimize the importance of the market. There’s an assumption by Environmentalists that they understand the human experience, that they as Environmentalists somehow know what’s best for everyone.
One of the problems with a lot of these new tech millionaires, is they’ve never had their ideas challenged, equally true are academics, who live in major cities during times of economic prosperity and in their minds, because they’ve never experienced anything other than prosperity IN CANADA, their assumption is that this prosperity we’re presently experiencing can never reverse.
An economic crash, changes people’s perceptions overnight, even in Communist China, the Communist government has to work extremely hard to make sure China’s standard of living doesn’t reverse, why because when humans are faced with poverty, humans get desperate, sure some humans who have no better option will stick it out, but once descension occurs human behavior changes, all of a sudden the positive environmental poll that was taken during times of economic prosperity turns negative when the Environmentalists actually starts to affect your personal life, your personal income and your personal standard of living, you’ll instantly become more open to opposing views.
Now, these opposing views and how they’re manifested amongst different humans are nothing like the way most people imagine them to be. If things get really bad economically in Canada, Quebec won’t be the only province threatening to separate, often is the case is people take for granted not how lucky we are to be Canadians, but how lucky we are to enjoy the luxuries we enjoy. During an economic crash, the environment is the last thing on people’s minds and I don’t think the Sandeep Pai and Fernanda Tomaselli comprehend how hard it is to have an authoritarian State!
Imposing taxes and being Environmentalists is one thing, trying to socially engineer society for Environmentalists agenda is another. Being an authoritarian requires the use of force, sure countries like Russia and China have figured out how to keep their people in line, but that’s a process that comes at a huge cost. Nobody wants to move to those countries, businesses are skeptical about doing business there and the worst part is nobody looks at them as examples to follow.
Although Sweden is loved by Socialists, most people with economic options don’t look to Sweden as a place they’d like to move too. If Measuring well-being and happiness is defined by this concept that “Canadians prioritize environmental protection” and there’s a belief for the Environmental authoritarians who are asking the question “Are Canadians ready to ditch GDP as a key prosperity indicator?” that’s a signal to the market to pull out of all Canadian investments not approved by the Environmentalists. Good luck with happiness when you can’t attract investment to Canada.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions I know when both Sandeep Pai and Fernanda Tomaselli wrote their article, they tried to find information that would support their theory, but the reality in Canada, in the world for that matter is that authoritarianism and/or the Nanny States don’t last very long. The world has already embraced one form of socialism, known as a central bank, The Bank of Canada currently has their interest rates at near zero, although this may seem normal and seem like it can last forever, the truth is it can’t.
The global economy is on life support, the market is looking for someone to blame, Environmentalists oddly enough assume they’re on the right side of history right now, I guess we’ll have to wait and see if they are, when people and businesses can no longer get loans like they used to, when fewer people want to invest, it will be the people who know how to profit from their property who will be the beneficiaries. Unfortunately, when I read the article below, the writers don’t appear to know how to build a Green economy, they don’t appear to comprehend how to attract investment, to attract energy into a Green project.
The Great Elon Musk is still having a hard time making a profit and he’s a real go-getter, not some writer who imagines things are as they’re not.no Elon Musk unlike most Environmentalists actually went out and tried to make it happen, he didn’t wait for the government to create a Green new deal, he maximized his abilities in an effort to show the world that Going Green can align with the human experience.
What’s being proposed in the article below is a full government takeover of the economy. In their article, they’re attempting to make the argument that the Government should micro-manage the economy. It’s a shame that this is what is coming out of the University of British Columbia, but hey BC’ers we’re dumb enough to create ICBC 😂. They Nationalised car insurance 😂lmao! what could go wrong 😂
