A heartfelt message from former President #Biden on cancer has resurfaced after his own #cancer diagnosis was announced earlier this week. During a 2017 interview on “The View,” Biden consoled “The View” host Meghan McCain, daughter of Senator John McCain, after her father was diagnosed with glioblastoma—the same cancer that took Biden’s son Beau’s life two years earlier. “You have to have hope,” said Biden.
Now, after Biden’s own diagnosis, the McCains are sending their own words of support to the Biden family. Cindy McCain, wife of Senator McCain, posted on social media, “My heart is breaking for you and your family… My life has been simply amazing. I owe some of that to you and Jill.”
