HomeRevenueSystem Information
It seems like here we go again now to start off this HomeRevenueSystem.com looks and sounds very familiar to me. So i will say this before you go signing up for HomeRevenueSystem.com make you check out automaticprofitsystem.com. They both look a like and sound a like to me. The difference is automaticprofitsystem.com is using the ‘David Palmer’ name and homerevenuesystem.com is using the ‘Brian Bailey’. If you scroll to the bottom of both sales pages you will notice their supposed head quarters is located in the same area. Another domain I’ve seen Home Revenue System on is directwah.com
Is HomeRevenueSystem.com a Scam
You also just need to look at the testimonials for both the date i am writing this the testimonials are the exact same for both HomeRevenueSystem.com and for automaticprofitsystem.com. They are just presented differently. What i think has happened is whenever a company is caught or people call it scam it usually disappears and re-appears under a new name. Basically they will recycle the same program change the website name, in this case change owners name and even change the toll free number.
HomeRevenueSystem.com Money Back Guarantee
First of all I am not saying that Home Revenue System does not issue refunds what I am saying is they are using the Paypal badge without having paypal as a payment option. If you go to their payment page they only accept credit card payments there is no where on their site that I can find where they accept paypal payments. I don’t trust companies the do not use paypal. Paypal protects consumers from being scammed paypal will also make a company honor their refund policy. The fact that this company has the paypal badge on their website and does not accepted or have an option to accept paypal payments makes me recommend that you don’t sign up. None the less don’t let me opinion stop you from giving HomeRevenueSystem.com a try. Another thing i want to point out is that if you try and leave the Home Revenue System website they will give you a 50% discount
The news1reports.com Scam
For the record although news1reports.com may look like a legit news website the sad truth is that its nothing more than a advertorial the characters depicted like Jessica Holcomb or who could be any of the following like Kelly Richards, Melissa Johnson, Michelle Richardson, Karen Wagner, Stephanie Albion, Charlie Thompson and Paul Johnson are nothing more than fictitious characters used to give the consumer the illusion that a real person had success with whatever they are recommending. This idea stems from the fact if something is put on a local news station people will trust it and most people won’t think twice before signing up. Most of the online scam websites use this tactic to get a sale they will also use places such as CNN or Foxnews to advertise. Again if you want to give HomeRevenueSystem.com a try go ahead but I recommend you stay away.

If HomeRevenueSystem.com hasn’t worked for you consider visiting my work from home free page
It’s disgusting the lengths that these rotten scammers will go to to get a sale. Why haven’t they been shut down?
Another thing, they added “like” on facebook, supposing you are adding Jessica Holcomb. Instead, it adds a link to their scam. I quickly “unliked” them. I looked up Jessica on facebook. She is single and lives in Georgia, not Greenville, SC.
The “recent” check is dated in 2008 with names conveniently blacked out.
The scam came to my email box as a warning against scams! Wow.
I just jumped and bought it before doing any internet search, I didn’t even wanted to leave the site. How stupid I am !! I have tried to contact them at 1-877-780-1280. Of course this is number is wrong. I don’t know how I can recover my money. Too bad, I am old and not wise at all.
The sad thing is that they also use your location to make it seem more real to you. I knew this had to be a scam when I saw how much she claimed to make. The area I live in is considered a low income area and I have never met anyone who makes that kind of money. Scams like this should be researched and taken off the net.
You don’t trust companies that don’t use paypal? I signed up for paypal and promplty had my bank information stolen. Paypal told me the thieves “spoofed” my information when I signed up for a paypal account. Luckilly, I have had some training and caught onto this in less than 10 minutes, shutting my bank account down. Have you noticed another item? ID theft is at an alltime high and Paypal is the top online pay system. Add 2 + 2 and you may find a connection. I know I did.
i’ve been with paypal for a number of years and never had any issues with them apparently your situation was different. In the event money was even taken from your bank account you could have reported it to paypal’s customer support on top of that you have 45 days to dispute the charges, on top of this you can dispute the charges with both your credit card company or your bank. Plus paypal and ebay are connected if paypal was as bad as you make it sound i think eBay would have gone under years ago. Non the less thanks for your comment if you want to sign up for HomeRevenuesystem don’t let me stop you just don’t say i didn’t warn you
Wow – glad I did my research before I fell for this. I listen to the online info commercial and I could hear the cut and paste comments HRS or Home Revenue System was inserted into the sound file. I was on the Washington Times site and some how fell into the ad for news1report.com. I still thought I was on the Washington Times site.
this jessica holcomb thing looks just like the acai berry fraud but who can you contact? No one cares that these horrible thiefs are here and stealing hard working peoples money…
Wow!!! I almost fell into this scam again!!!! I was one of the ones who was scammed with the Acai Berry also, but got my money back b/c I faught and did not stop until I got it back “Thank God”… These people hit the ones most in need of a JOB. I was almost about to purchase it but was reading all the links and then finally thought to add Jessica who is supposed to be from GA where I am from and it lead me to read these posts on the bottom of the search page I was looking her up on lol… About PayPal, I use PayPal and so does all my family members that is one secure way we can transfer money to one another also my children school use the site for pymnts such as sports pymnts we make pymnts through PayPal and NO PROBLEMS! I had problems with a company that I had made a purchase from and they were able to get me my money back. Also I tried to use the PayPal pymnt but it did not give me the option that is why I second motioned my thoughts. Thanks Guys for all the info!!!! This is a SCAM for Sure b/c here in GA you ain’t making that much money from home. I work from home right now and just wanted extra money. The job I have now, I did not pay a RED CENT!!! They also issued me my comp to use JOB RELATED ONLY and I have my own personal computer for my personal use. Good looking out for other folks though….
I just wanted to thank you so very much for your comments as you saved me from making yet another mistake. I was on the phone with my friend as I was filling out the information to register for the automatic profit system and was just about to click “register” when something told me to Google Holcomb. I had tried last evening to add her to facebook in order to speak to her about this program but there were sooooo many different pages with the same name that I began to wonder. Anyways, I decided to Google her and this site was at the top of the search list. After reading your blub and all the comments that were left I decided to immediately close the AP site and NOT register for it. I am on a disability income and am a single mom of 3 children simply looking for a way to earn an income. I am well educated and still having trouble with not being able to work as I’ve worked all my life before my accident.
Thank you again for saving me from a VERY BIG MISTAKE – a lesson I should’ve learned by now!
We decided to see how the Automatic Profit system worked. Once you sign up
the first guy calls and talks to you for about an hour. He wants to know your financial situation to see if you will be “accepted” into the program.
He puts you on hold to “check” with this other guy to see if the other guy wants to talk to us further. Of courses he does. The 2nd guy then ask you to write down goals( 5 of them). He then uses those against you to get you to want to do the program and make all this great amount of money. FINALLY at the end of 2 hours and 9:00 at night he will try to move you from the $97 to.. are you ready for this???
$13,000. Are they serious?? It’s all a coaching program to set up a web site for you then you are on your own. The coach will call you now and then to see how things are going. Never did find out what we would be ordering or how to do it. We told them we would think about it and never heard from them again. No money was lost. The call came from Premiere Coaching. He wanted us to put the $13,000 on a credit card and then went into a song and dance about how it takes money to start a business and how we would pay ourselves back. They wanted to make sure my husband and myself were in the room so we could both be on speaker phone to make the decision to give a total stranger and an internet one at that $13,000.
Oh no and I just signed up for this scam. What was I thinking without checking things out first. Now to be able to get my money back that I paid for…….that’s going to take forever. Maybe if I call the bank and have them cancel it hopefully that would work with my bank after explaining how dumb I was to do this. After reading what Patty had to say about this and them wanting $13,000 they are crazy why would I want to pay that kind of money when I want to make many ( I don’t have that kind of money if I did I wouldn’t want to try to make some). They charged me $97.00 for the Profit System and another $97.00 for the VIP upgrade.( thats $194.00) that I just put out and really could afford…………boy am I stupid or what. I should of listen to my husband and not do this at all from now on I will never signed up for anything like a home business on line again. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!! Don’t get scam let me. Please pray for me that I can get my money back.
Thank you so much!!! I found this information BEFORE signing up. I am very appreciative.
wow I’m glad I read this too .. Unbelievable scam!!
I have found that any website that says the comments are shut down because of an over reply is a fake. You look at them and every one is saying wow this site is amazing it really works. And then you want to leave a comment it says sorry the comments section si closed. This is because they dont want any one saying hey dont fall for this its a scam. Thank you so much for your blog and your honesty about the free work from home sites. I have decided if any one wants me to pay to work for them it must be a scam.
I just signed up for this! After reading everyone’s insight I called and got my money back!! I can be so dumb sometimes! The Jessica Holcomb does not even live in my town like it said. If I were all of the Jessica Holcomb’s out there I would sue them for this if possible. Thank you to everyone for being honest!
I am soooo glad that I decided to google this Jessica Holcomb person. Like everyone else has said I don’t know anyone in my town that has made this kind of business. I already have a home based business and was just looking for another stream of income. With my current company I did have to pay an up front fee and a monthly fee, however I am making enough from my business to have it automatically taken out of my residual checks each month. I also use our services and save way more than the monthly fees. I am not trying to promote my company, but I wanted to let everyone know that there are companies out there that have been around for quite a while where you really can make money. Now don’t get me wrong you really do have to work in order to make money and it does take time and consistency. Thank you for putting this blog up hopefully it will save a lot of people from being scammed.
Moderator: Please contact me at my email address.
Sue, how did you get your money back from Acai Berry? I signed up for it myself and don’t know who to fight- though I want to!
If you could post back on here I would be very appreciative.
A lesson learned is a lesson earned. Don’t feel bad anyone you are doing the right thing by posting these to save others from making that mistake. Just keep in mind if it sounds to good to be true it probably is. May luck be with you all and i hope you find what it is you are looking for. You all have saved me and i appreciate that.
The lesson is as old as the world itself. If it sounds too good to be true, then it is. 99.999% of the time that money is required upfront spells a scam. The bad economy makes desperate people even more vulnerable. ALWAYS BE SKEPTICAL!!!!
Hey I almost fell for this scam. Good thing I looked up to find this a big scam. It’s hard to find a very good legit work at home job. Do any boby out there know a legit work at home job. If you know email me
fortepl112for(at)aol.com
When I clicked on the article, it stated that Jessica Holcomb lived in Rialto, Ca. I called a friend in LA and she pulled up the article and it stated that Jessica Holcomb lived in LA…… don’t waste your money!
News1Reports really makes this look like a ligit system. But look close at the bottom, it clearly says advertisement paid for by homerevenuesystems. Suddenly, no this is not the washington post breaking the good news of how to get rich quick. On the paypal note above, if you get ANY emails telling you to link into your account through the email link (paypal, bank of america, citibank) to confirm your information or access your account…be skeptical. Always open a new tab and enter the actual REAL website in the url web address bar.
The links used in emails by scammers can pop up pages that look totally official…never link through an email, also trust your gut and report suspicious websites and emails. Good luck, hope you get your money back.
Looks like Jessie really gets around! Apparently today she lives down the shore in South Jersey. But these scammers sadly are falling down in the homework department. If she was making $6000 – $7000 a month she wouldn’t be living offshore, her acai berry body would be on her new deck at her new house on the bay in Ocean City!!!!
HA!!! apparently Jessica also lives in Harrow on the Hill,West London where I live near. I don’t trust any on line homework stuff any more, there are legitimate ones I am sure, but most are in the US and cannot be used in the UK, which counts me out! I signed up for a mailing or typing firm in london who promised to send work but never did, £30 out of pocket though which annoyed me, now their website has gone!! that is the first and last time i trust any thing claiming you can make money easy on internet, if that were true we would all be doing it right??
@Juan Click on my name to visit my website. I don’t have a “JOB” to offer I have a work from home BUSINESS to offer. I will tell you that there IS a small (less than $70) start up cost. For further information click my name and visit my web site.
I got caught up in a work at home scam. Turned out to be a so called institute that trains you to sell on ebay. I signed up for 50$ and then was asked for more money to invest. I refused and asked for refund. I was lucky to get it back. I am disable and un-employed. Was just trying to make more income for my 4 children. These sites are just plain evil. Stay away from them!
Is the Automatic Profit System the same as the Home Revenue System scam? In my area, Louisville, CO, Jessica was listed under the Auto Profit System. I called them and now I’m calling my credit card to try and cancel the payment. They sure talked a good game. I’m a skeptic and I even fell for it. Damn.
And she also lives in Illinois apparently!! This advertisement caught my eye because they “showcased” Jessica Holcomb from Palestine, IL, just 7 miles EAST of where I live. There is NO Jessica Holcomb from there. There is a Holcomb family in the area but 6.5 miles NORTH of Robinson, IL. Total different direction! When they say “It sounds too good to be true!” They are right! I’ve been burned before but have learned to check out Consumer Complaints! Yea for me! Don’t fall for this one. Thank God I didn’t! Beware! THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!! BUYER BEWARE!!
I live in granite city, IL and I have searched and asked everyone I know and knowbody ever heard of her. I finally went to post office and city hall, no record of her there. This is the closest one to granite city, IL I have found
Jessica A Holcomb
De Soto, MO 63020-5272
TODAY JESSICA HOLCOMB LIVES IN MY HOME TOWN IN GA. SHE SURE GETS AROUND. THANK ‘GOD’ FOR GOOGLE CAUSE I WAS ALMOST SOLD ON ANOTHER WORK AT HOME SCAM.
Hey Jessica Holcomb lives in Kahului too. Thank goodness I Googled her name and THIS site popped up. I would love to find a legit work @ home site. Mahalo for doing the research for us all.
My mother who is living on social security benefits at the moment almost fell for this SCAM. Thank God she asked me to check it out for her before she wasted her precious little income. As a previous comment pointed out, the News1 website is clearly marked as Advertorial, further when you try to click on any other news items, it re-directs you to the sign up page. There is no other news on the site except this fake story.
Truly this is a dispicable scam which preys on vulnerable people looking for a way to financial security in these tough economic times.
SO,is there anything real out there? I have always known that these things are too good to be true, and god, they go out of their way to make it sound true? The one thing that caught my attention about Jessica is the 5,000$ she claims to have made 4 weeks after she signed up…First of all, what kind of business makes such a big profit in one month?? Really,if that were true, we would all be rich!!!
However,i need to know whats real. Anybody??
Gosh, it is so hard to know what is real anymore and what is a scam. I am a recent widow and my Social Security benefits do not cover my minimal expenses. I am 70+ years old and have been retired for years. Now that I am the only income source in my family of 1, I have an enormous amount of expenses that must be paid for my deceased husband. I read about the Online Revenue Solution and thought since I am at home every day, it would give me something to do and I could earn money. When they got finished with me, they had charged my Visa Debit Card $391.00. This is money that I don’t have, so I called Customer Service to cancel my membership. It all sounded very scary to me since they didn’t ask me any verification information. When I asked them when I would be refunded, the Customer Services Rep told me it would be at least 17 days. He did give me a Confirmation Number, but I think he pulled that one out of his hat.
You can always put a stop on it with your credit card company!
thanks to google, i discovered jessica holcomb doesn’t live in fresno, ca after all. i had a feeling when i looked at her big fat check with the address blurred out… the “city and state” line seemed to have 3 or 4 words instead of just fresno, ca.
online predators are despicable as they prey on vulnerable people just trying to get by. i canceled 2 online scams this week alone. after this i’m not gonna fall for another one EVER. last year i got caught in a “secret shopper” scam that cost me over $2000. i was so desperate to make money i ignored all the flaming red flags and made a complete fool of myself. how stupid was i when i wired cash to dubai/united emirates? dumb dumb DUMB! thankfully my banker who knows me alerted me to the scam (too late to recover my money). i could have gone to jail for fraud if they hadn’t known me! from now on, no more work at home cd/dvd programs, no more send 100 letters for cash, no more false secret shoppers (there ARE legit ones, just do your homework). if anyone knows of a legitimate way to make money with an inexpensive program, let us all know. we wouldn’t be looking for one if we already had a good income! thanks and good luck to everyone. by the way… i was also scammed into buying into a website coaching program for $4500. discover card charged back my money and am i ever grateful!
I was skeptical when I read that Jessica Holcomb was from my hometown. I’m pretty sure their software embedded in the link detects the locale of the computer you’re using and inserts your city. Clever! And sneaky. Run away!
Another name they use is:
– eHome Profit Systems
– eHome Profit Solutions
If you look up, is eHome Profit Solutions a scam their website cones up with all the information that tries to get people to sign up/pay them money.
***EVERYONE please remember–a job pays YOU–you don’t pay to get a job, you don’t pay to interview, you don’t have to buy anything is it’s a legit business. Please be careful…I see a lot of people who actually gave these people money are entered a credit or debit card to try to start making money and now regret it. *****make sure you check your bank and credit card statements. Often these scams will continue and charge you again next month and even more so just keep an eye on the charges that come through or your statement.
Also, think about this–if you found a way to make $500 in one day in just two hours would you share it with the world, with people you don’t know??? Think about it…if you did could you continue to make so much if everyone is doing it. It simply doesn’t make sense. IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE MOST LIKELY IT IS!!!!!! They make their money from getting money from people like you and I. This makes me so mad! So many people are seriously taken advantage of and it sickens me. All, please be careful — if you are low on money NEVER spend it to try and make more. Just like gambling — you hope you will when but there is always a chance you’ll loose.
My apologies for rambling — I just hate to see o many people being taken advantage of. This is one site of many about this company and about this fake single mother who now makes all this money. Its truly convenient how they are using technology to say that someone in the same city and state each of us are in are already making all this money from home. Think about if these people put all this effort into something good–they have done a lot setting up all the different web sites, fake stories, fake people, fake news — put all that evil to something good, useful, and legit and no telling what they could do. But they are trying to get rich quick and I am positive they have made a lot of money by taking advantage of thousands of innocent people. This is not the only scam out there and this company is out there will so many names is crazy.
I wish there was a way to a stop them and lock them up–false advertisement–not giving refunds–unauthorized charges–chafing a different amount than what one agreed to–not delivering what was promised, etc.
Be careful!
Lastly, the news in my state said there are so many scams when it comes to working at home that you would spend so much time trying to figure out who isnlifitnand who is not that it’s not even worth it. They said you would most likely see hundreds of scams before you see ONE real work from home job–and that it could be months before you found that real job. They said its a fill time job going through all the fake jobs. SAD but TRUE.
Be careful and remember–YOU don’t pay to work you’re paid to work.
Zima
Jessica lives in Kennewick, Wa too. They know your general area by your IP address and these supposedly successful work at home moms, always live near you. Once you pay the 97 dollars for whatever, there’s another similar one that also charges you something like 59 dollars a month for the membership. It’s all a scam. They’ll never get caught. It’s like an epidemic. They never really go away.
Thanks all for your advice, I was just about to sign up…
I signed up for HRS and signed up for all of the upgrades. So $391. In the ad it says if you can email you can do this. Once I got into the members club area, it shows you all of these different ways to make money. There is a huge learning curve and this program would take hours and hours of work. I don’t have a web page, I don’t blog, so all of these things would have to be created. The “automatic” websites that you can set up immediately and start making money — everyone who buys the program launches those same sites. The probability that someone will actually land on your site is slim to none. I called customer service and said this wasn’t for me and that I wanted my money back. They told me they would issue me a refund for the whole $391, they didn’t even ask any questions. Now I will just watch my credit card to make sure it gets charged back, and never sign up for one of these again!
Folks, this is more than just a scam to get your money. My own ill-thought attempt to sign up was blocked by my financial institution, and followed up with a call from their security department. I told the man what happened, and he assured me that the transaction did not go through. Then he told me that there were foreign connections involved. This is how cyber-terrorism works; we give them access to our financial institutions data banks. I would have a serious talk with your own institutions and ask them to put strong security measures in place for all of our sakes. I watched the National Security Threats hearings this evening, and it was emphasized that much of the threat to our national security takes place from within and involves our financial infrastructure. This is not paranoia; it is real.
When thing sounds too good, normally it is too good to be true. Remember this, there is no free lunch. How can we get thousands dollars for almost no effort? These shameless people try to rob the money from people who need it the most.
i was bored and saw the “Warning: The discount offer is going to Expire Sunday, February 13th, 2011″ and instantly thought to look at the source code. Just as i thought, the date is generated by the date on your computer. For those who love Javascript, here is the snip I found

I was sort of interested in this program. As soon as I read that they wanted Money I knew it was a SCAM. I have always heard that you should never pay to get a job, and especially not on the internet. So always keep that in mind. You should NEVER pay to work for anyone! (If you went to a job interview, you wouldnt take to job if they said you could start as soon as you paid them $100.00, would you?) I’m so sorry for those of you that did fall for this scam, but hopefully this will help you in the future
Unfortunately I fell for the scam, but luckily I was able to get my money back right away. There is a work from home company that I worked for, for about 3 years and it is very legit. The website is called Arise.com. They do require a fee for there training but during certain seasons they will wave it. You have to have a business license and a business bank account (both are very easy to get) because you will work for them as a independent contractor. I hope this info will help anyone who is looking to work from home.
Well, apparently Jessica lives in Vegas now. How do these people know my location? I used to live in LA, but when I moved here I used a routier to get internet connection, my homepage is yahoo and I have my local Vegas news on there. But when I got an internet service hooked up, it shows as LA local news on my yahoo homepage. Thats creepy how does this happen?
I think I know how that get your name. Recently unemployed I published my resume on CareerBuilder and Monster. And now I am getting all kinds of work at home stuff. I am really glad my sister found this site for us to find out more about Home Revenue Stream before we did anything. Thanks everyone!

if you google that address where supposedly the company is based out of. it is in the middle of no where…
Unfortunately these people prey on the greedy, stupid and desperate people, you can moan all you like but if it wasn’t for people like you falling for this rubbish, they would be out of business in a day or two.
If it looks too good to be true, then it is. There are no legal get rich quick schemes.
Thank you for posting this information . . . I will be sharing it with the followers of my blog also.

Thanks for all the information. I was about to fill this out and send it in and decided to check it out and realized that it was a scam and I live in MS and apparently so does Jessica now. I would like to find a legit company to work from home with as I am about to lose my job.
Showing Jessica Holcomb of Millry. Millry is a very small town, everybody know everybody…..there are no Holcomb’s (that spelling) listed in the Millry phone directory. Ooops!
WoW!I almost fell for this just today, when I went to the sign me up page they wanted a credit card and that was a red flag for me, i went to close the window and a pop up said WAIT we can save you 50% if you sign up today which came up to $49.99 I just pressed okay so the window would close. I went to snopes.com and couldn’t find anything, oh yeah I forgot to mention it said she lived in Waterloo Iowa! lol that is where I am, I googled her name and it brought me here, I am so thankful I didn’t fall for it since I have no source of income as my unemployment has ran out, So glad you all did the same :o) Thanks everyone :o)
God Bless, Sandra
WOW!!! tHANK YOU FOR THIS POST! I ALMOST SIGN UP FOR THIS WEB….YOU SAVE ME MONEY AN TIME. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE AWESOME ADVICE ^_^
The name “Jessica Holcomb” is supposed to be in MY city. We have a total Population of 5000 and I KNOW ALL of them. NO “Jessica Holcomb”!!! It is a total SCAM !!
The same SCAM as “This girl wants to meet you….. or…. is online now in YOUR town” …. No girl/woman like that in my town…..LOL
What a coincidence. Jessica Holcomb lives in Abbotsford, B.C., Canada too!

And what they find comes to a huge surprise and reminds us that while we need to be very cautious, there are some home businesses that work very well!
Jessica Holcomb, a struggling, single mother seems to have found a very legit and easy way to make a great living without having to leave her home and just working a few hours each day. Jessica stated: “This is not a get rich quick program, but they do not claim it to be. This is a way to help support your family, while still being able to enjoy doing the things you love and having enough time to spend with your family…”

WOW! I lost my job in November and am quite desperate for income. I was about to ‘join’ when I decided to research the company to make sure they were legit. And sure enough…I’m not surprised that it’s a scam, it’s frustrating that companies like Home Stream and Home Revenue take advantage of people that are going through hard times. Thank you everyone for saving me the headache and the additional financial burden.
No Jessica Holcomb in Fredonia either. I did a vigorous search to seek her out and simpy ask her a few questions. I live near by and know quite a few people in the immediate area. No one ever heard of her and no one by that name in this area could be found in the phone or via people searches.
I live in Mn….What a coincidence…So does Jessica Holcomb! I bet she just happens to live in your state too!! These pigs should be shut down
I found that I didn’t have much to lose when I put up the $97 to join bc it looked real and a work smart to make $. The good news is when I cancelled the following day they promised a refund and I should know for sure soon. I got a call and when I was told they would coach me step by step I thought maybe they really have something that could make $, but when I was told only if I invested another 2,800 I got out quick.
Not saying for sure that you can’t make it with this system, but when I pay to sign up and they ask me for another 2800 the same day. Come on?
This Jessica lives in Newtown PA too… I guess she lives everywhere… this must be a scam and I was just so close to signing up too until I googled her name and it brought me to this sight. Not giving anyone my money.47T3
I checked the link today and I didn’t know March 0,2011 was a date on my calendar.
definitely a scam i would say. iam in the uk and she apparently lives just down the road in swindon. perhaps she has made so much money she has houses all over the world and owns concord plane to get about. lol
I had a feeling that the news site was fictional when I came across 3 different ones that named people directly from MY exact city, which is VERY tiny and secluded. I honestly must say they are good at fooling ya, because I seriously ALMOST signed up for that. Listen to your gut. Thanks for the info.
These EXTREMELY MISLEADING sites have been around for a while now — State agencies should scrutinize them them or at least make a “news blitz” to inform us all of these nasty companies.
I wish people were using the “google sidewiki” to write how fake the news are! Also people remember the google toolbar has a “pagerank” which is ZERO for this fake web site. If you see a zero pagerank that may be fishy.
Ha!! Jessica Holcomb lives in Novi, MI now.
Ha!! Jessica Holcomb lives in Toronto, ON now.
THANK YOU! for this useful and honest website, and to those for offering earlier comments. I was skeptical and searched the company name and found your site. After the incredibly long sales pitch (yawn), I was curious to see what information I could find (What PRODUCT OR SERVICE do they actually SELL?!) but nothing is available prior to payment. I can confirm there is no live PayPal link, a one-time 50% reduction is offered if you try to close the page, “News1Reports” is an advertorial, the other news sections take you to the Home Revenue sales page, and the supposed address has a real street but invalid street number (below):
1400 Village Square Blvd.
Suite 3-136
Tallahassee, Florida 32312
The other thing I’d add to everyone else’s useful comments is to look at the way the sales pitch is written. Not to give any ideas to the other side here, but just think about it!
I am really interested in working from home over the long-term and am going to check out some of the other companies you mention. Thanks!
PS oldwhatshername now lives in Massachusetts too….
i verified there is only a jessica holcomb in grants pass oregon, no where else in oregon, definitely NOT in salem oregon…..
bj n
no jessica holcomb in salem oregonnor any other town in oregon except for grants pass oregon….(per zaba search.com)
hey thank’s for the info i lost my job, and was looking for something to pay the bills, and i almost fell for this one.
It says Jessica lives where you live because “they” know where you live and that info is populated for each viewer. It is data advertisers can get when you are on the net.
Kathy is right. I live in Colorado Springs and sure enough looked under the real estate parcel search and there is a Jessica Holcomb. They populate that according to the cookie locators you send to them when you click on their website.
There is no Jessica Holcomb in Haines AK. It is a very small town. I live here. SOMEONE is lying.
Wow…Jessica Holcomb…Painted Post, NY…must be a popular name, wouldn’t you say? I became even MORE suspicious when I saw another name from Painted Post…sorry, I deleted it; however, that was my answer. Keep plugging along and don’t waste money I don’t have on this S-C-A-M!!!!
honestly guys, there are not many ways to work from home. My suggestion would be to get a certificate in Medical Transcription or go to Amazon’s mTurk and transcribe…….as for the rest of it…RUBBISH! Trust me, I am a single mother who works in the oilfield…so I am away from home alot, and have been looking, diligently I might add, to work from home so I can be with my children. I am taking a class online for medical transcription, and doing transcription on mTurk. But I STILL have to come to work every day just like the rest of the planet….if you want income, then you have to get a job…….
thanks for the comment Bridgette but I disagree with you I work from home full time, i’m a former welder and there are plenty of ways to work from home full time online. Is working from home full time for everyone no, but it’s a reality I’ve enjoyed and hundreds of thousands like me enjoy.
This is the comment I left on the website comment section…and the newest name of the “kit inventor” is Robert Allen….Cranston RI is Not the address on the above check = SCAM… My Dad taught me long ago, if I have to pay you, the only guaranteed to make money is you. You use the word FREE and follow with “Special Link”-50% off today only….please…if I am performing a service for you, you pay me and calling it a “Training” fee is disingenuous as well. How do all you people sleep at night, trying to fool the desperate out of the little they have. I’m sure you won’t leave this up and a simple Google of Home Revenue System reveals the word Scam.
gusshhh! thanks for the info, my money is saved,HOME REVENUE SYSTEM IS A REAL LACOSTE AND TERMITES!!!! GGGGGGGRRRRRRR!!!!

Someone from this company broke into my email contacts list and spammed my entire list. I have taken this information to the States Attorney and asked him to prosecute. Time this crap stops.
My daughter has told me to always Google for information – why oh why didn’t I take her advice? I signed up for this programme and was sent something completely different. The price mentioned was $97 but in fact I paid euros 97 and then discovered I could have paid 50% less! When I queried this I was offered the 50% by e-mail but it was the actual programme I wanted and they said they were just the company processing the payments and couldn’t help. When I replied saying that their e-mail address was at the bottom of the sales letter and the only address I had, they sent me two e-books which are supposed to help me make money – one only downloaded 3 pages! Now I have read everyone’s comments and realise how foolish I have been. So I have e-mailed requesting a refund and await their reply. I am a pensioner working full time and longing to find an alternative way to boost my very small pension so I can give up full time work. Well that’s my excuse! They say there’s no fool like an old fool so I guess that must mean me! Thank you to everyone for your advice and comments.
I just saw an add for this. Picture of a young woman with a child. Named Melissa from cuba Mo. Uummm I am from Cuba. I did a little looking and found another website for the same thing from Melissa Johnson, and this lady was older and different ethnic background. I almost fell for it because it was in my town. So glad I stopped and backed up a bit.
Bought the discounted access to HRS members club and was working along thru the information very well. Satisfied with what I got for my money. NO hard sell, or ridiculous promises. No hard upsells along they way. Access to the online course was fine, the standard and presentation of the information was also OK – not ground breaking – but well laid out and suitable for where I am at. THEN, all of a sudden, the website disappears! Try loading hrsmembersclub.com or homerevenuesystems.com – no error messages, no url not found, just a white blank page staring out at you! Disappointed – it WAS good and I WAS a satisfied customer – its a pity that people do this sort of thing when what they have is good enough without it having to be presented like its a scam, and have it disappear as if it was scam.
what about the gbg 10-in-1 tablets online business is it also a scam?
Tremendous piece you have prepared here! The internet is awash of horrid penning and I was grabbed by your pellucidity. Your conclusions are dead-on and I will immediately subscribe to your rss feed to stay up to date with your up forthcoming postings. Yes! I acknowledge it, your composition style is great and i will now work harder on improving mine.
OK, so if you’re honestly interested in working from home and fell for this, how do you cancel it? The ad promises a 2 month money back guarantee and I only ordered it 2 days ago but I want it off my credit card bill and cancelled ASAP. Can you help me, please? No one really says so but it sounds like I won’t even receive anything in the mail.
I ordered the Internet Biz Kit 2 days ago but after reading reviews I want it cancelled and a refund on my credit card. Any advice on how to do this? I’ll, of course, call my credit card company and enlist their help. The ad says there’s a 2 month money back guarantee. Thanks for any help you can offer.
So this is a SCAM HUH? Well if this doesn’t beat all. I fell for this mess back in mid-July and, I paid the $49.95 that was the gong price then. Now it’s $97. That’s sad, and it sure does open my eyes that it was a SCAM then and still is. I have been working diligently on this Blog Account and the 15 websites that I created paying $9.95 a month to Brain Host to host my websites and come to find out today that this is all a BIG SCAM. A HOST FOR SURE: The main reason I believed in it was because they say it was promoted on “CNN, FOX News, ABC, MSNBC, USA TODAY.” This is how they fooled me. A fool is a fool who knows not that he/she is a fool, but now those of us that were fooled at least now we knows. Live and Learn! I really feel like a fool, Really thinking that I was gong to make money and a lot of it. What a fool I’ve been. My mum always said if it sounds too good to be true then it usually isn’t. How can I cancel my Paypal Account. What are they planning to steal money from you if you make it. Well, the card I used to setup the paypal acct was damaged and was cancelled. Just to think, I was goggling Ernest to contact him for info on how I can make the money that the testimony people claiming they were making and goggled upon the info about the whole thing is a SCAM! What about the Blog Account I created and the 15 websites? What happens to them? I did have my doubts but wasn’t for sure. My instincts proved me right. Thanks for the info. Lol!!
DISAPPOINTED FOR SURE-WHAT A BIG LET DOWN! OH WELL, you LOOSE SOME, AND YOU WIN SOME!!
I almost fell for this a second time. I purchased this a few months ago, and decided to call and find out when the package of other programs they had would be delivered. The guy acted confused, and I explained to them I purchased another program from this HomeRevenueSystem.com site. I didn’t get all of my money back either.
One more thing, any time you post a comment on their web-page where it has comments about success stories, you comment has to be reviewed and approved before it is posted for anyone to read. THAT is a RED FLAG. I left a comment on it today, and I decided to look up the name they mentioned that was from Austin, TX which is near me and it took me to this page. I’m glad I did, because what I have read so far i am very thankful I didn’t fall for the same exact thing a second time!!
This site is a bit of a scam. YOu can make some money using your personal blog and google Adds. But If you don’t have any traffic to your Blog, then of course you can’t make any money. And It can take a while to have your site accepted by Google. Not saying it’s any thing you can make huge tons of money at, but it is something that you could possibly make a decent income versus our out lay. After all working a job is just trading time for money. You only get out of it what you put in and sometimes the conversion rate isn’t the best. The sites mentioned here “set up” your web page for you and all you have to do is “collect the check” in the mean time you fork more money into it than you get out of it till you give up. With a little more personal time and effort, you can do all the same stuff yourself for almost nothing but time and effort. But you have to put the time and effort into it, you can’t be lazy. And that is what they capitalize on is LAZINESS!
Hi all
I live in Bexley in Sydney Australia and got the link to the ad from my cousin in the UK. She sent it a few weeks ago and when i saw it I thought I will get back to it. In her email it said it would expire a couple of weeks ago, I clicked on it anyway and it said it had one more day left. Anyway, have read the above and dome some more checking. On the link I got this guy †Ernest T. Baird, is listed (with a photo (as living in Adelaide (Adelaide is a city in the south of Australia. I copied his name of the site and pasted it into google. The first links I found was the same company etc, with Testimonial from †Ernest T. Baird, but living in Maryland (US).. Ernest definitely gets around!! SCAMMMMMM!!!!! BTW IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OFF THEIR SITE
Thanks to this website….i was about to fill in this form….These reviews has been of great help
I got scamed by Home Revenue System. You cannot contact them. On their refund policy page they indicate to call them at COMPANY_PHONE . what is this? It’s bogus.. If you call 1-888-857-8325 and hit #3 for billing they will never pick up nor answer your message left on their voice mail..
I guess I’ll never see a penny of my money back.
they should be put in prison!
If I could get 1/2 back it would be better than nothing..
I’m a senior citizen with a low fixed income. I only reponded to it because a trusted friend had sent this article from MSNBC saying to check it out. So my guard was down.
my boyfriends friend told him about the work at home. i just starting roaming the internet and came across this informational site, that is telling me what to look for in scams. we don’t have a lot of money and he always wants to by something online. we have been scammed by supple drinks. the millionaire scam. i’m tired and have bookmarked this page for future reference. thank you for letting people like me know what to watch out for. i appreciate you guys.
Mr. Jeremy Arias, you will find your name in something similar under:
online-profit-stream.com, the whole thing from a certain Cindy Carter from Australia, that later happen to be in Utah, has a testimonial picture of a man with your exact name: Jeremy Arias, Santa Fe, NM (I wonder which state is NM), confirming the receipt of a check in the amount of $628.53. I only let you know. I was only trying to find out what is this whole issue, but up-front is evident this people are scamers.
Should exist some kind of law to punish this people.
