Justin Trudeau’s Tyranny Has Been a Huge Help for The Conservative Party of Canada: Why The People’s Party of Canada Should Focus on Taking NDP and Liberal Supporters – June 15, 2022,
Is the People’s Party of Canada a fringe Party? Maybe, but it could push itself into the mainstream if it targeted NDP supporters. Liberal Supporters might be a stretch, but Justin Trudeau has been a huge help to the Liberty movement. Justin Trudeau’s recent acts of tyranny and his general mean-spirited approach to governing is turning a lot of people off and it’s also bringing in BRAND NEW voters.
People who otherwise would be disinterested in politics are not getting interested, why? Because of Justin Trudeau. Now, it’s safe to say that hardcore Liberal supporters may feel compelled to double down on their support for their leader, but at this point, especially with consumer price inflation raging on, Justin Trudeau even firing public sector workers who don’t obey him, what’s the benefit of voting for the NDP?
You have to remember the NDP and Liberals have merged together, which although makes them feel powerful in the PRESENT, actually leaves BOTH Parties vulnerable in the future. Now, with the People’s Party of Canada, who managed to get 5% of the total votes in Canada, while Erin O’Toole still secured the popular vote in the 2022 election, I’d have to assume that if career politician Pierre Poilievre is the new leader of the Conservative Party at the very least the Liberal vs Conservative race is going to be close.
It’s unlikely Justin Trudeau will want to call an early election if Pierre Poilievre wins the Conservative leadership race. Jean Charest, will likely trigger Justin Trudeau to try his luck at an early election run, I actually imagine Jean Charest being the candidate Maxime Bernier would prefer to run against also, as Jean Charest is not liked by most Conservatives he’s tolerated.
I would expect the same people who showed up for Erin O’Toole to show up for Jean Charest, but it’s unlikely he will attract anyone new, in fact when I think of Jean Charest I feel disgusted because nothing annoys me more than Conservative trying to appease the opposition. I’ve on plenty of occasions, shown my appreciation to Justin Trudeau for not caring about people like me, I didn’t vote for Justin Trudeau, I would never vote for him, why should cater his politics to appease me?
I feel that Conservatives should return the favor, when Conservaitveare in power, take a page from the Justin Trudeau playbook and push your agenda until you lose. This country has moved further left because of the Trudeau family, like it or not their politics have been VERY effective. People like Jean Charest will leave the door wide open for a more tyrannical Leftist in the future to bring Canada further down the road of tyranny.
Why I like Pierre Poilievre is because I like the Conservative Party sticking to the finances argument. FINANCIAL education leads people to liberty. Even in Scandinavian countries, the socialists know how to balance a checkbook. I personally look at most parts of Europe as a REGULATIONS nightmare, but the people aren’t IGNORANT as to where the wealth is derived.
In Canada, we’re a new country and we’ve taken a detour to Left-wing politics which is only natural, but, things can easily be turned around IF, Canada like the United States can strengthen its base via EDUCATION. In America, there are at least 5 million Libertarians, now, the thing with Libertarians is that you’re not bringing them to the Left, you can’t unlearn being a Libertarian.
Debating a Libertarian also throws you off, if you don’t understand economics and don’t have financial education, because Libertarians stop wars before they start. Libertarians typically focus on CENTRAL BANKS, why? Because without money you can’t go to war! The government having control over the money supply under the guise of a welfare state, is why Left Wingers are most terrified of Libertarians.
Now, why I bring up Libertarians is because young people when given the opportunity to learn the different political ideologies, tend to become Libertarians, it’s only when people have been EXPOSED to the Libertarian state of mind that, they’re thrown off by them. If as an example I’ve been brainwashed by the public school system and my thought leaders tell me Libertarians are evil, racists, not only may I become defensive, I might go on the attack, not understanding that Libertarians are ANTI-WAR!
This is where Maxime Bernier and the Peoples’ Party of Canada can make inroads. I’d argue the People’s Party of Canada if Pierre Poilievre wins would be wise to focus their energy on taking YOUNG PEOPLE away from the NDP, I’d also try my luck and the working-class members of the NDP. What Pierre Poilievre symbolizes for a lot of Canadians is a chance to bring Canada back to the Stephen Harper era.
If I were Maxime Bernier and the People’s Party of Canada, I’d recognize, why Pierre Poilievre will likely beat Trudeau and proceed to pick apart the carcasses of the NDP and Liberals. If the strategy fails, no problem, but I’d have to try it, because there is a good chance the PPC will lose support from individuals who swing back and forth between the Conservatives and the PPC.
For the PPC to attack the Conservative Party if Pierre Poilievre wins, would be counterproductive, this would be the best time to attack the NDP. A lot of people still consider NDP voters on the fringes and quite frankly Libertarians have a lot in common with Leftists, most leftists imagine that Big government is the answer because they’ve NEVER heard the other side to the argument.
A good time to educate would be the next few years if Pierre Poilievre wins the Conservative leadership race.
Interesting times ahead!
