Keean Bexte: Unifor’s refinery protest spills from Saskatchewan into Alberta | Western Separatism Unlikely?
In my world, Leftist revolves around Unions. I personally don’t subscribe to the central bankers are the problem theme, because there’s a demand for a central bank and that demand revolves around the ignorances of the WORKING people. If you work and you want to be paid an above-market wage, you’re engaging in price and wage-fixing. It’s really that simple and although in the modern world we’ve come to embrace Unions, it’s important to remember the main reason why any poverty exists in the Western World.
The excuse for being an unemployed able-bodied individual in Canada comes from Union, I get it, there’s a demand for minimum wages, but understand that the moment there’s a minimum wage, there’s an excuse to not start a business and there’s equally an excuse as to why a person can’t qualify for a job. This leads to the rise of a welfare state, if not enough ENTRY-Level companies can afford to meet the provincial or Federal minimum wage laws, well then tat company will cease to exist, furthermore let’s not forget about the other worker entitlements that employers have to pay for.
I write about Union culture in Canada because although Western Canadians for the most part vote for the Conservatives, the Conservative Party of Canada has been steadily been moving center-left Politically for some time now and the reason for this is that there’s a demand for it. This demand for a Center-Left Conservative Party has led to non-market-based beliefs for many people in Western Canada.
Let’s call it for it is, Geographically Canada is bordered with the richest nation on earth and this allows Canadian politicians to enact Socialist laws that wouldn’t work anywhere else. So as I see it now, Western Separatism appears to be dead or on hiatus. I call it as I see it, until someone can properly articulate what free enterprise economy looks like, Canada is heading down a very dangerous economic path and once Canada reaches that economic point of no-return, it’s unlikely that ears will be open to age-old proven concepts of economic freedoms.
The Rebel.media is Canada’s only Center-Right news outlet, Canada has no equivalent to Fox News, yes there exists TheSun Network and the NationalPost but these organizations tend to tip-toe around the issues. Fox News is “Hard Right” they don’t budge from the Free Market and they cheer their side on with the same vigor as their Leftist opposition. Fox also gives a platform occasionally to Libertarians and political agnostics so Americans, as they age, are often given different variations of political theatre which allows more Americans to take a more comprehensive approach to govern.
Barack Obama although a socialist had an understanding of the Free market, people may not know this, but Barack was one of the first Presidents not to raise the Federal Minimum wage, now one would think that a Leftist Politician who inherited an economic downturn would make raising the Federal Minimum wage a priority? But no, Obama understood a few basic things about the Free Market, leave the minimum wages to the States, because different U.S States have a different cost of living and if the Federal Government intervenes there could be dire consequences.
Now, in America, there currently exists a career politician named Bernie Sanders, who believes that raising the minimum wages has no economic consequences, but wage and price-fixing does have consequences, the moment you do it, the voters assume you can do again and again and again to keep up with inflation? Well, eventually jobs start leaving the country. China is the second-largest economy primarily because it can undermine Minimum wage laws and other price control regulations, while at the same time devaluing their currency.
Because economics is a secondary issue, most people don’t understand that the main reason the Trump economy has been a boost to the U.S economy is been because of Trump’s cutting of regulations. The more the regulations the more uncompetitive your economy becomes and if the Canadian economy is no longer attracting entry-level manufacturing jobs which often lead higher-paying jobs and long-term income tax growth, well then you end up with Service Sector economy which in Canada is filled with Crown Corporations and unionized Private and Public Sector workforces using the power of government to meet their demands.
Now, if you’re wondering what protectionism is, it’s a precursor to Fascism, unions will fight for Large corporations in order to prevent competition and like the Unions fight for corporations, large corporations get special privileges under the government and eventually this lack of competition stifles or at the very east changes economic growth. There exists no entry-level high-paying tech jobs? So if the goal is to phase out fossil fuels and the replacement is Big-Tech, I just hope Canadians comprehend the economic disaster heading our way.
UNIFOR is trying to force a Co-op to give them more money, UNIFOR is the same company that helped to destroy GM, I have to remind the reader that non-unionized Toyota expanded in Ontario while GM is gone! These aren’t GM minimum wage manufacturing jobs that left Ontario, no these were high paying manufacturing jobs that left, because Unions got too greedy and the Union supporters got greedy because they have limited understanding of a market economy.
Now TheRebel.media, they’re an entirely market-based media company, dependent on support from their viewers, any income they earn comes via hard work and servicing their viewership as well as the public. Now, obviously I don’t believe in everything they do, but they have my support, being that they will take on causes the mainstream media in Canada ignores. Being that Unions have gotten greedy in the last two decades, it’s become increasingly difficult for the mainstream media to frame Unions favorably, so often you’ll read articles by Canada’s mainstream media which simply gloss over the facts.
The average Canadian doesn’t understand Union culture until their part of one and this again is another reason why I see the Canadian economy facing major challenges in not too distant future. I’m disappointed with Wexit as it stands now, I’m also disappointed with the lack of support for the People’s Party of Canada or the Libertarian Party of Canada. Canadians are asleep to the plundering of their wealth and I assume we’ll simply have to learn things the hard way.
Interesting times ahead!
