Koodo Review
First and foremost let’s make it clear nothing on this planet is perfect.
Koodo in my opinion is a step in the right direction. I don’t know how it became the in thing to lock people into contracts, but to this day I hate the idea and I wish Canadians would wake up to this fact. Most people get suckered into contracts because they are given either a free phone or a phone for less. First off to me unless the phone is free it makes no sense for me even looking at a contract as an option. Secondly in my opinion the only contract I would sign is one for a mortgage. At least with a mortgage I’ll have some sort of collateral.
Koodo the Telus Subsidiary
Rogers owns Fido so Telus creates Koodo and if this idea catches this cell phone industry can finally brainwash people into believing the only way to go is signing a contract. Average Canadians usually choose the security option I’m not sure why this is but it’s how the average Canadian thinks. Smart Canadians HATE contracts and poke fun and people who sign them. Unless you have a business or you own or you’re a part of a corporation or corporate identity I honestly don’t know why you would sign a cell phone contract or have anything to do with one. Unfortunately most of you have No idea what I’m talking about and since it’s a bit too complicated to get into now I will attack this issue from a different angle.
It sickens me & saddens me to see all these young beautiful kids in debt from cell phone companies and other luxury based services. If you can’t afford to buy the phone you shouldn’t own it, you shouldn’t be given another option to own a cell phone you can’t afford to buy. So what we have now & what I am seeing is these kids graduating college with bad credit and huge student loan(s) to pay off. A cell phone is not a necessity! If you can’t afford to buy it cash you should not be allowed to own it. (My opinion)
Koodo’s Tab Plan and features
Now although this is step in the right direction of getting contracts out of the cell phone industry I still do not like the Tab plan because from my perspective it’s like a contract teaser. Koodo’s Tab plans from my view are extremely border line.
The Tab plan in itself works like this you can get a phone free and run a tab to pay it off. The phones are not over $200, plus you can earn credits referring people to Koodo which can get you a Koodo phone free. Also with Koodo you don’t pay any System Access Fee and no 911 fee.
The issue people voice about Koodo is that you can’t use SIM card overseas? It’s probably better to buy a cell phone when you go overseas that’s what I always do. It usually saves you way more money. When I went to Jamaica I bought a cell phone with minutes that I didn’t use up for only $40 CAD, I gave it to one of the kids when I left. The only drawback I currently find with Koodo is that the call display and voice mail cost extra with all of their plans. Apart from that I find Koodo to be a step in the right direction.
I recommend Koodo to youth and parents who are looking to get a cell phone for their kids. I’m not a Koodo subscriber I don’t work for Koodo, but if I didn’t own my own business I would most likely have a Koodo cell phone.

I would LOVE to take you seriously but your grammar is awful. There is a difference between ‘there’ and ‘their’, and at one point you used ‘and’ when you should have used ‘at’. You could sound intelligent but your grammar makes you look uneducated and nonchalant about this subject. Also, try losing the ‘lol’. No one will take you seriously.
thanks English teacher!
Why anyone would sign a contract is beyond me. Stay away from contracts. They cost you to get out of them. Its a total racket. If they are so good, then why would you want to leave them. Thats why they contract you !! Just like tose crooks at Bell. Talk to them and make ANY changes, your contract has now been legthened to an additional 2 years. You start all over again ! They get away with it ! So much for the CRTC & Govt regulators. KOODO is the way to go. Ive had it 4 years and wouldnt think of switching. My plan is great. I dont like paying for call display and voicemail. But, If I want it I have to pay. I can always cancel that at no penalty. KOODO ..all the way. Screw Rogers and Bell.
