NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh calls for Slavery of Canada’s Working Class, Jagmeet Singh want’s people who don’t work to reap the rewards from the people who do work! – April 11, 2020,
The problem with being a socialist environmentalist is that it clashes with the Proletariat, environmentalist, for the most part, want a Welfare State whereas traditional Marxists, put the proletariat(the working class) in a position to unite and take power away from the capitalist class, in order to create a communist society free from class distinctions.
Modern Socialists like Jagmeet Singh seem to be trying to play both sides of the debate. Canada already has a green Party and a Liberal Party, if you’re no longer working you’re no longer being suppressed by Capitalism or capitalists.
The flaw of Marxism is, is that most Marxists don’t want be business owners, they don’t want the responsibility of having to compete with innovation, this is why Marxism fails everywhere it’s implemented. Democratic Socialism is a form of Authoritarian democracy, a properly constructed Republic protects all people including ALL the minority classes. A Socialist Democracy can’t protect minorities, because a democracy is always at war with minorities, like it or not the Rich are a minority.
Class warfare is one of the reasons why Marxism doesn’t work, yes it might feel good for the Marxists to create an enemy out of the Rich minority, they feel is ruling over them, but recently the rich people in the private sector of a Marxist derived society are stomped out of existence leaving the Marist or Socialist Government as the richest entity in the society, at this point, Leftists whether they’re Marxists, Socialists, Fascists environmentalists, Feminists have to find a new enemy to go to war with and this is usually hen Leftists start to turn on each other.
You see in the real world, if you don’t work for a living, you’re not being a productive member of society, if you’re not working you don’t even qualify to be part of the Proletariat and if you are working and you’re a socialist, you’re subsidizing people who don’t work and although you as a worker might see nothing wrong with dedicating your productive labor to people who don’t want to work or contribute to society as a noble purpose, history has shown that eventually successive generations won’t be so kind.
In most socialist societies, a lot of people do not work, because humans quickly realize that they’ll make just as much money not working as they’ll make being productive members of society. Once this trend of large portions of society not being productive happens it usually doesn’t reverse. Especially if the Government is able to subsidize it for a prolonged period of time.
The fall of Venezuela occurred the way it did because Venezuela is an oil-rich nation and their government was able to use their riches from oil to pay for their own versions of Canada Emergency Response Benefit .
You see the moment there’s an excuse for the government to provide welfare for one group, they’ll be an excuse to provide welfare for other groups and then more and more groups apply for government welfare and production or productivity levels begin to decline. What often goes ignored about the fall of Venezuela is what happened to their oil sector because of the environmentalists.
Now, as an investor, I follow news about oil and one the main reasons Venezuela or Venezuelan Marxists derived Oil economy failed, was because of environmentalists, many of who don’t understand how Welfare is usually subsidized.
Although the 2009 article you can read below is biased towards environmentalism and socialism, if you read it for what it is, you’ll see the role environmentalists played in the destruction of the Venezuelan economy.
“We have chosen the path of life and we are wagering on that, despite our great oil wealth,” Rangel said. “We understood that we needed to reforest in order to provide oxygen for this planet, in order to save the world. So, at the same time as we extract oil and sell it, we are reforesting and developing new technologies.”
Chavez summed up this approach when he told the Venezuelan people in February 2007, “We are an oil-producing country and that obliges us to take even more care of the environment; on an extreme level; to avoid contamination, and to reduce contamination in all areas: earth, water and air.”
“In our country, over the next few years, the public transport system will be shifted to function on gas,” Rangel said. “Natural gas is less polluting than diesel and petrol. As well, the metro [underground railways] of Caracas, Valencia and Maracaibo run on electricity generated by hydro-electricity, which provides 70% of Venezuela’s electricity.”

Welfare For All: Comparing Venezualian environmentalists to Canadian Environmentalists
The article above was written in 2009 and The Crisis in Venezuela began in 2016 and if you invest in oil, you’d know why, the Venezualan oil market crashed so hard. Being that I got involved in Renewable energies in 2009, I
I’m well-versed on the pros and cons of renewable energy.
Oil requires maintenance, oil wells, the maintenance of oil is costly and as Venezuela attempted to shift over to a more environmentally friendly economy, as many people remember, the price of oil dropped like a stone! Venezuela’s economy was never known for its diversity, furthermore, Venezuela similar to Canada was experiencing a brain-drain even back then.
So as the oil money started to dry up along with their governments’ bad investments, everything that could go wrong went wrong, but try to comprehend that had Venezuela not been investing away from oil, things wouldn’t have gotten as bad as they did.
Welfare for all costs money, welfare is very expensive and if you’re going to have or fight for a Welfare for all system, you’d better make sure you have a golden goose somewhere. America’s golden goose like it or not is the U.S military and their diverse economy, even Canada is dependent on the U.S military. Canada’s golden goose like it or not is not our banking system it’s our energy economy, namely our oil economy.
If you want welfare for all, you’d be wise to support Western Canada, the problem is the Leftist Party’s in Canada are at war with Albertan oil and on the same token the NDP leader Jagmeet Singh wants the government to lift all criteria for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit to allow any Canadian who is in financial distress due to COVID-19 to qualify for benefits.

Slavery was abolished in the Western World but Progressives haven’t gotten the memo
I get it! When most people think of fiat money and imagine a modern monetary theory in their heads, they imagine that robots, machine or those ‘hard-working people over there’ will do all the heavy lifting for my benefit, as long as I don’t have to do all that intense labour stuff I’ll support welfare for all!
People really do convince themselves of all sorts of bad ideas in the middle of an economic bubble, being detached from reality is fun in many ways, imagining that because things are fine now, this is how things will always be, is suitable for the positive spirited individual during times of great fortune, but eventually, there’s a slave rebellion, in America, many people will argue that if slavery was a superior economic system to Capitalism blacks would still be slaves to today.
Slavery which is a form of socialism isn’t superior to Capitalism, that’s why even white people who may not have been fond of blacks in that dark period of human history fought to abolish slavery in favor of free-market capitalism. If you don’t work and receive benefits from the government for not working, you’re a slave master. It really is that simple, we are all in this together and if you don’t contribute anything to society, meaning you don’t invest in anything, you don’t work, you take more from taxes than you put into taxes, you’re a modern-day slave master!
I pay my internet bill because people are working to get me access to the worldwide web. If I’m given free money to do nothing while others are forced to work for money in order to survive, those hard-working people aren’t being treated fairly, they as the proletariat are actually being abused by the bourgeoisie who are now the supporters and beneficiaries of the Welfare State!
At the very least Marxists hoped to end what they saw as slavery, as you can tell if you listen to Canada’s political classes, their class warfare is being targeted at Canada’s proletariat they’re making the argument that if you don’t work you should reap similar rewards to the people who do work!
If you don’t think this system is sustainable you may want to consider preparing yourselves accordingly!
Interesting times ahead!
