News10Reports Scam

Posted on May 15, 2010April 23, 2012 by RichInWriters

News10Reports.com Scam

I’ve been reporting these advertorial news blogs for a little over a year now. They all offer similar scams and it seems to me they have no plans on slowing down. I will tell you this News 10 report is NOT a real news website, its nothing more than an advertorial to try to get you to sign up for automaticprofitsystem.com. On the news10reports website they use a character by the name of Stephanie Albion they also seem to be using the name Jessica Holcomb or Amy Livingston. When ever they create these fake news websites they create fictitious characters to match their fictitious stories. Before signing up for automatic profit systems I highly recommend reading the terms and conditions.

Updates! Also beware of news18today.com and any other similar looking fake looking news website

In my opinion Stephanie Albion is a fake character created to get people to hand over their credit cards to automatic profit system and before you sign up again i highly recommend reading the terms and conditions i am hearing lots of stories about people being charged close to $200 from automatic profit system. Before signing handing over your credit card to anyone remember to read the terms and conditons I know this sounds repetitive but i don’t want anyone reading this to be another victim of automatic profit system.

automaticprofitsystem.com From My Perspective

The First thing i would like to make clear is that i am not a member of  automaticprofitsystem.com I’ve never joined the program I’ve never implemented the tactics used in their program. So anything you read in this post is only my opinion and is not to be confused with actual results a person might achieve implementing the automaticprofitsystem.com program.

I am writing this but by the way this program is built from my perspective what i think will happen when you sign up is that there is some kind of upgrading offer on the other end. meaning after you pay $97.00 they will probably try to sell you something else. This is pure speculation on my part based on the design and the wording of website. There’s nothing really specific on the front sales page they don’t go into detail of what it is you would be getting.

It could be the best program in the world I just personally don’t trust it nor do I recommend it. News 10 Alerts looks alot like scam websites i’ve been exposing for month’s now. automaticprofitsystem.com sounds and acts like a scam in itself. if it is a legit program from my view it’s doing a terrible job marketing itself. None the less if it has what you are looking for don’t let me stop you from signing up.

furthermore..

I need everyone to leave me a comment below. I live in upstate new york so the stephanie Albion site i might be seeing may be different from the one you are seeing. Please leave your comments below it helps others.

Updated Just a quick note and also thanks to those of you leaving comments they are using the name Jessica Holcomb now.

thank you

If automaticprofitsystem.com hasn’t worked for you consider visiting my work from home free page

I am glad I read your blog because I was honestly just about to sign up for this. Now I am reading through these comments though that this Stephanie girl lives close to Iowa and stuff. The one I read was fron a king 5 new link and it said she lives in everett wa which is close to my house. So I agree it seems like she is a fake character. I was debating on looking her up in the phone book to see if I can actually talk to her. Im guessing I won’t find her number though.

I almost purchased this product until I looked up Stephanie Albion and she is not from Port Jefferson station like the article stated. And I figured if they would lie about that then they would lie about their offer and the so called profit it would make. If it were so good why not have an actual real person speak about it.

I am so thankful for your article making people aware of the scams going on through the internet system. I am a single mom and can understand how very, very hard, it is for anyone now-a-days to make ends meet. And (whether the child is with the mom or the dad), a person should be allowed to invest a little money in something to advance their quality of life without having to worry about whether they done the right thing by trusting this person or the company with their hard earned money. It seems like the Better Business Bureau (BBB) could do something about a “scam” and at least make people know what their in for by putting some type of warning at the bottom of the ad to make sure people understand what a company stands for.
I was just about to invest $49.99 which was the discounted price, (regular price was $197). I really don’t have $50 to just give away to someone when there is a possibility they may do what they promise to do.
Again, I want to thank you again for opening my eyes to some necessary facts.
    Keep up the good work,

    Sincerely,

    Dorothy Irby

The website in question uses an IP tracing program and changes the hometown of “Stephanie Albion” to whatever physical address the IP is closest to based on where the viewer of the webpage is accessing the internet. Try using a proxy IP server and she may show up as living in the UK, Europe, or even the Phillipines.

I did a search of the name Stephanie Albion immediately and was not surprised to see all of the links concerned with this being a scam. Just thought I would add my support to the “Don’t do it” line!

Beware the internet, research, reference and triple check before EVER considering joining something like this… And always remember… An employer will NEVER require money from you! Any legitimate company will supply you with what you need if it is something that is required for your position!

    FYI

There was a question raised earlier about whether or not a second amount was demanded after signing on for the initial payment. Once you’ve paid what you expect to be the total amount of $97 upon your initial registration, there is indeed a second rather hefty amount required in order not to forfeit your initial $97. When confronted with that request, I immediately (and I mean within 10 minutes of committing to the initial fee) canceled and demanded the refund they had so happily offered during their initial presentation. I have sent three emails and have received a call from a female at 1.888.386.7577 ext. 312 to address any concerns I may have expressed regarding my involvement with their company. My emails will be attached to my filing with the Consumer Fraud Department of the Attorney General’s Office. I’ll start with Texas where it all began for me and try to trace the other states involved as each Attorney General’s Office should be involved. Good luck to all.

Well I am glad that I checked this all out. Just so happens that I clicked on the site and Jessica Holmes is now in Las Vegas. Was tempted to go for it as others we are out of work in these depression times with jobs and debts to pay. It all sounded good, but as they say “if it sounds too good to be true it probably is” So by doing a search on the program I saw several pages on how this is a HUGE SCAM.

Thanks for posting this site so that those that are checking this whole scam out can offer some advice to those wondering should they or shouldn’t they sign up.

Desperate times bring desperate measures, and I hope and pray that these con artists get caught and have to pay back everyone they have taken advantage of.

Ok, people, this is thin and transparent as ever. PLEASE don’t get suckered by any of these type scam sites, and there are a bunch of them…. Read the fine print at the bottom of the page (they count on you ignoring all of it), so here’s a little excerpt…
“It is important to note that this site and the stories depicted above is to be used as an illustrative example of what some individuals have achieved with this/these products. This website, and any page on the website, is based loosely off a true story, but has been modified in multiple ways including, but not limited to: the story, the photos, and the comments. Thus, this blog, and any page on this website, are not to be taken literally or as a non-fiction story.”

So basically they admit and print on the website that they are boldfaced liars… You know, for legal reasons…

I was suckered in by notions that the stories were true. I actually read that the reporter followed the interview in her quest for internet riches. But I got the story from Chicago breaking news sponsored by WGN, CLTV, and the Chicago Tribune. I was prompted and they actually put timers up there to act quickly. The way the explain it you believe its real, and it might be. Currently I’m $375 into automated profit system and working with their affiliates. I have spent several thousands with a Power Seller Collegetech firm. They guarantee my money back within a year. It could be a bad investment or it may turn out it was well worth it, even if the only thing they did was open my mind to the billions in e-commerce. I’ll get back to all you in a few months for the real verdict on this scam.

Apparently Stephanie Albion now lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. Ads like these that suck unsuspecting people in and take their money are despicable and so are the people who publish them.

Thank you for posting this information. Was JUST about ready to click “pay now” and I thought I better do some due diligence and there you are. Just for the record, Jessica Holcomb is also in Ladera Ranch, CA. I thought it was strange that there was a voice over in a number of spots, particularly when they say the name of the system. Thanks for saving me time, money and probably what would be alot of hassle! It’s unfortunate too as it heightens cynicism and plays on exactly the things people are looking for right now. Sick. Go MATT with the lawsuit!

I was just checking out the automatic profit system and i agree with your comments, I’ve been looking into to on-line money making systems for quite a while now and this one has all the ear marks of a rip-off. The name used in the promo I checked out was Jessica Holcomb supposedly from Sudbury, Ont. Canada. I just happen to live in Sudbury so I checked out the phone book and there is not one Holcomb listed, in a city of 100,000 you would think she would have at least one relative with a listed phone number. Personally I wouldn’t touch this one with a ten foot pole – I have no real proof of this but if you’re thinking about opting in I would really do some serious research into the organization before doing so

😀 Hey, heads up guys! Jessica Holcomb now lives in Allendale Virginia! That’s where I lived about 10 years ago till I was 6 years old. Wow! What a coincidence. Such a nice woman wanting to help people get “fast cash” and she now lives close to me. I wonder in exactly which APARTMENT she lives in. (^.^) Maybe she’s my uncle’s neighbor. ):3 I want to send her a present. Oh wait, that’s right, she seems to move around a WHOLE FREAKIN’ LOT so I’m guessing that she has probably moved on. Hmm, must to be nice to be rich. Look at her, she’s able to afford to stay at soooo many places. Must be the travel-lover adventuring kind of woman.

And yes, I know this is scam. I seemed to have found it fishy when I heard the “Offer expires today” thing. I’m not stupid. I’ve read enough books to at least know some of the tricks that people use in scams to get money.

I click on the link an it took me to a site call News1 reports. Thats where I found this Jessica Holcomb. She explained about the program and how you can make big bucks. Wow she also lived in Palm Bay, FL. I am surprised that MSNBC allows this kind of advertising.

This is such crap. I had a sneaking suspicion that this was a scam but being interested I read through the entire page and ignored the TIME LIMIT at the top on the automatic profit system web page (which by the way resets every time you re enter the web page). Its interesting how they could find that much to talk about without giving the buyer any information as to how this system works. I also noticed there were NO “terms of agreement” anywhere on either the beginning page or after you continue to the insert your credit card page. Once I tried to exit the site completely they cut the cost in half to 49.99. That’s where they decided to insert the terms of use information. Which conveniently states: “*INCOME CLAIM WARNING: Testimonials are not typical of most results. Photographs or images are a depiction of individuals and payment methods. These income examples are representative of some of the most successful participants in the program. Some individuals purchasing the program may make little or NO MONEY AT ALL. These claims are not a guarantee of your income, nor are they typical of average participants. Individual results will vary greatly and in accordance to your input, determination, hard work, and ability to follow directions. No person or company can guarantee profits or freedom from loss. Any and all use of this website certifies you are agreeing to our Earnings and Income Disclaimers. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!

I got the email from News1Today. Oh my, it looked very legit. I went to the website, read the comments-all positive from seemingly satisfied customers and was further convinced it was very legit. I went ahead and completed the “simple application”. I was about to provide my credit card when I remembered how I was scammed about 13 years ago – you know, new immigrant, looking for work and thinking this was what made America great. The scam then required me to send $10 money orders with self-addressed stamped envelopes. I sent these to about 5 requesters- that was the last I heard from these so-called “work from home” schemers. this time around, when I could not find anywhere where “Automatic Profit” explained what I have to do to make money-it raised my suspicions even more. I then decided to go online first and find out more about Jessica Holcomb and the other Stephanie Albion reporter character mentioned in the “News piece”. Was I in for a shock? Apart from your blog, there are others out there from people who have been burnt. Thank you for exposing these scammers. By the way, do you know that when I decided to navigate away from the website, they offered me a “friends and family’ package of 75% discount as opposed to the originally 50%? Scam, scam, scam.

“Jessica Holcomb”?? Obviously the site operators easily use your IP address to modify the Town/City that this mythical person lives in! i.e. close to your own area. Despite so many people eager-desperate in fact to earn money simply to live. PLEASE avoid all of these MANY Scams-IF the work etc is so financially rewarding and of course.ever so easy!!, then WHY ate not the people offering the “progam” simply doing it themselves? and keeping all the supposed benefits!!

I was led to the site you mentioned and it was under the name of Jessica Holcomb. Interesting thing is she is supposed to be from Albany, Oregon which is about 20 minutes from my town. I have seen this type of thing where they try to use a local or semi-local area to make you feel like if someone from your area can do this, then you can, too. I agree with the gentleman above (way above) about script codes. Jessica Holcomb is the fictitious character they use for Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada too. So I guess Jessica lives where ever you live, be it: Alaska,
Miami, New York, LA — anywhere-ville. I’m amazed that people fall for these “the sky’s the limit” scams. You

Automatic Profit System uses the name of Jessica Holcomb a lot to say that she is making great money and supposedly is from Birmingham.
Okay the facts are:Jessica Holcomb is in jail or prison(whichever you prefer)for smothering her baby, she has previous charges of child abuse. She is in Gwinneth,Georgia(not alabama)and is locked up.
Jessica is also supposed to be making tons of cash from Home Revenue System,Home CashFlow Solutions and Automatic Profit System all at the same time with just a few hrs aday.
This reminds me of the speedway scam which almost everyone that invested in the business got their money back thru a class action suit, and yes,it worked like the rest. You pay for the system and then have to buy other items at outrageous prices to make the system work for you,You have to pay for a website, and all the marketing fees associated with it so they can make money from you(thats their business making money and not yours).
You make money after you get others to buy your items or join and pay you for the system.

I helped track down 2 scammers already by tracking them and reporting their locations to the proper authorities, but it is a never ending process since the us government just wants to know where they are, they havent gone after anyone yet for these kind of things.
I tracked 1 down to place of employment and residence all the way to the DOCTER in maine that was running it.I sent in the information, complete with addresses and names, phone numbers and even banking information from his ip address i got out of the email they sent to me and backtracking it to the isp who in turn provided the name.
My government didnt do anything at all, even with all that info.
So,its WE the poeple that will have to act to stop this kind of crap, the people we pay to work in gov dont care as long as it doesnt happen to them or their friends. The US wont get involved unless there are drugs or they think there are drugs,in that case, boy oh boy, there is a problem and their coming to get ya.

I almost bought into this Automatic Profit Systems. The news1 website APPEARED to be legitimate. It also said Jessica Holcomb is from Pflugerville Texas, which is where I live. What could be better, I thought. Before I gave them any of my information my common sense kicked in and I decided I would google this company. I have spent the last 2 hours reading horror stories about all these people who have lost their money to this SCAM! The moral to this story is “David Palmer” won’t be depositing my $97.00 into his bank account, and I hope the end of the road is coming sooner than later for David Palmer. Lets all put our stories out their so maybe he won’t be getting anyone else’s $97.00 either.

We are a training company, we teach people how to ran successful online business, and we provide a valuable education, just like any other school or training program it is how we make our money, by training you. We want you to have a positive experience with our company so we can

    everyone succeed.

Our goal is to deliver tremendous value you to and help you make money online.

Thank you for your attention to this and I look forward to helping you

as I was checking this website, and decided to do some DD, they stopped my exit by offering me half off the already half off, when I tried to exit again they again discounted the program to half off, making their system 25.00 or so, that is a big red flag for me. Makes me feel like they don’t have a system and are trying to get 25.00 from me, not give me a deal. Who would discount a system that does what they say it can do for 25.00? Me thinks not.

Jessica Holcomb isn’t a “pen name” – she DOESN”T EXIST! Yet she always manages to reside within 50 miles of wherever YOU are. Automatic Profit Systems wants you to believe not only is Jessica Holcomb real – you can write to her on Facebook. YOU CAN’T.
