The Root Cause of Health Insurance Corruption and Pharmacies

Health insurance, what a monster, how do you fix something you didn’t damage? If you’re in the healthcare field, in most instances, you’re trying to fix a problem you didn’t create. Then the government steps in as a mediator, and then from there, the government realizes that health care is more complex than it imagined, so the government outsources all the HARD work to a “private” entity, which the health insurance companies RIGHTFULLY then own and control.

I remember someone telling me that the insurance industry should be nationalized by the government; I laughed because the insurance industry is the backbone of the nation, and the reason insurance companies are stingy is because they’re dealing with finite resources.

People want the government to take over because they imagine that the Government has UNLIMITED RESOURCES, which it doesn’t. People argue for a Central Bank Digital Currency(CBDC).

Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) are a digital form of fiat money, issued and regulated by a country’s central bank. Unlike decentralized cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, CBDCs are centralized and backed by the government, providing a digital equivalent to physical banknotes and coins. They aim to modernize the financial system by leveraging technology for improved efficiency, lower transaction costs, and enhanced financial inclusion. CBDCs also provide governments with greater oversight of financial transactions, potentially improving regulatory compliance and combating illegal activities. However, they raise concerns about privacy and the impact on traditional banking sectors.

The problem with the concept of CBDC is that the government, especially in a Democracy, is POLITICALLY driven, meaning that politicians will say and do ANYTHING to be elected, like BANKRUPT the country, for example.

And don’t assume that bankrupting a country equates no money, bankrupting a country could mean too much money(hyperinflation) or a LACK OF RESOURCES or SHORTAGES of healthcare workers. Because of all the regulations in healthcare, no matter how much money a company is willing to spend, there are still shortages of healthcare workers.

Whether a Democracy or an Authoritarian form of governance, history has shown that including the GOVERNMENT in the private sector is often a huge mistake.

Society is already litigious, however, because VOTERS have decided to vote to grow the size and influence of the government in the healthcare industry, the COST of healthcare has gone up, and normal voters can’t LOBBY the government for special privileges, so what often happens especially with healthcare is that the entities involved in the health care industry will use voters who want a BIG GOVERNMENT to push for laws to grow the size of the government, knowing full well, that the government will OUTSOURCE problems back to private sector, this time under better LEGAL conditions, because now a “private” entity in the healthcare field now, has legal immunity that it didn’t have prior.

Be careful what you vote for; you just might get it. How do you solve these problems? Well, truth be told, the problem has already been solved; a lot of people are traveling to get health care; for example, Malaysia is a destination for private health care; why? Less government intrusion, meaning LOWER COSTS/PRICES for customers.

Although it’s easy to blame the insurance companies, the truth is that the voter, voting to “fix” the problem made it worse. We’re now in an era in which people can LITERALLY “google that.”

Sure there are roles for government in health care, but they should very small, you have to remember that BIG government doesn’t allow medical professionals to lower their costs, which is the main reason healthcare is so expensive in the first place. There would be a lot more discount doctors if it weren’t for the government raising costs.

If I raise the minimum wage, for example, it’s NOT a free ride; it means the COST/PRICE of operating a medical business just got more expensive, and I, as an imaginary medical business owner, DON’T have unlimited resources. I can go bankrupt and possibly be imprisoned by the government forcing up my costs, so if I don’t raise my prices and my costs just go up, and let’s say that there are laws in place that FORCE me as a medical professional to do certain things for my patients, do se the position the American voter just put me in.

As a medical professional or a medical business, similar to my patients, I don’t want to end up in the poor house, doing all of these medical procedures, purchasing and maintaining all of these medical-based equipment that the government FORCES me to buy isn’t cheap, and oh by the way as a medical professional I’m not your slave. I want to be debt free and relax by the beach one day, just like you!

So let’s say the government NATIONALIZES healthcare and now a burger flipper and nurse make around the money, what job sounds better to you, under those conditions? When you figure that out, you’ll realize why the Government should keep its presence in the medical field to a bare minimum.

The capitalist system isn’t perfect, but it’s the best system we have at the moment. Knowledge is power, so now that we have ACCESS to information, instead of running to the government to RESTRICT information, we should be using technology to our advantage. And please get that thought out of your head that only the government can be trusted or that big government solves all problems.

Big government causes problems; Big government is the problem, and humanity knows how to INNOVATE it way out of problems; what STOPS innovation are the restrictions the government puts on the human mind.

YOU CAN’T DO THAT; YOU CAN’T SAY THAT when you restrict thoughts, you suppress innovation. Freedom of speech and freedom of expression can be an ugly process, but that’s how we, as a species, solve problems.

So whenever you see some random person blaming the private sector, ask yourself what role did the government play in all of this.

Interesting times ahead!
