hye..i just purchased this product and i try to call the customer service but i can’t reach them..so what am i supposed to do..do help me..tq in advance
If you can’t contact them contact your credit card or bank and explain your problem!
The information is given but is misleading – the free trial starts when the product is ordered, so with delivery times people lose several days out of this. In addition the business requires they obtain an RMA number and then deliberately makes this difficult to obtain dragging things out so that they can they say the consumer has gone over the time.
Sites targetting the EU including the UK fail to comply with distance selling regs so the consumer can cancel anyway, without RMA numbers or other such nonsense.
SCAM !?
The amount drawn from my account is $ 99,95, not $ 4,95!
Tryveloura is not answering my mail requests for an explanation on why…
Can anybody give me a suggestion how to get an answer, please?
If you type scam veloura on the Internet, the entire modus operandus of veloura will show up. Theybare a scam. You can register with scambook, you can continue to hassle them on email non stop, contact your credit company and send all the details of your correspondences. I did all three. Because I cancelled my order within 20 mins of order (the fine prints came after you accept their offer, ie they will keep charging you automatically n since that was not on the original offer statement, it cannot be part of the contract. Those terms pop up after the offer. Basic contract law on offer and acceptance is you can’t sneak it a term post acceptance and expect it to be enforceable. Basis all the scam materials and articles on the website, especially on wafflesatnoon, you should be able to get your credit card company to post a merchants protest with them. But if its paid by your credit card company already before you protest, it will be difficult to chase after the money. But you can ask them to list the vendor as fraudulent con artist with the materials on Internet so that they will get blacklisted. But what these companies have been doing is create new company and sell the products under other names. But the more we expose them, the less victims they will claim. I just tell them that bad karma will fall upon then and their family and they should be jailed alongside madoff!! .
You should also take picture of the package. Their term say return within 14 days from shipment date and must be accompanied by RMA number which can only be gotten over the phone.
their technique is as follows:
1. i order the product and within 20 minutes try to cancel, they responded on email within 2hours that product was shipped and I can’t cancel order. Any legitimate business will let you cancel because no company can physically shipped out within 20 mins or two hours of order. This was 13 dec2012. Telephone number is bogus. No one will pick your phone. It’s permanently engaged. So I report to credit card company immediately even before they post the transaction with my credit card company.
2. Then i start a trail of email exchange with timestamp so it shows this company can ship product in 20 mins but wont respond to email at all or after 5 days interval.
3. Product arrive 4 jan, way past 14 days grace. No one answers call on the number given.
4. You should go to your local consumer protection association, local police, and anyone who will hear your case, if you are not using their product. If you use their product, you can consult your credit card fraud division for help to stop them from charging you subsequent amount since it is not legally binding. Punitive terms after the acceptance cannot be enforced. Hope this helps. Send them email to say that you are very upset over their tactics, and all the miseries will return to everyone in their company that s part of this fraud,
I have their unopened products sitting on my desk. They finally give me a RMA number but say shipment must arrive in 7 days from receipt of the RMA number and I should send by special post that can track the whereabouts of the package and ensures on time arrival because RMA number is ‘time sensitive’ which is a joke. . I told them I will not incur more money as I have lodged with credit card company their scam. Their product is unopened and unused. They ship in a way where the package has no official time stamp so that you don’t know when they actually shipped. They type in their own shipping date. , I list out all the info that was on the web, my own email trail with them, for those on iphone, you can printscrren your outgoing call log by taking a photograph of your call log to prove your attenpt to call them but bo response. And I will send all their unused product to my credit card company fraud division to handle if they don’t send me prepaid postage to ship back to them. I wasn’t going to spend money on shipment since they put a restriction that it must arrive in 7 days. Who knows what other tricks they have waiting for me. So I will let fraud dept of my credit card company deal with them.
I wish I had seen this before I sent the mail… Because it is exactly like your case, Geteven. Lord knows when the trial product reached customs, where I have to pay more and now the card has been swiped for a $100. The call centre numbers are useless and I can tell you, they ignore email requests to cancel any fresh orders – an email I sent within the day of placing the trial order. Unfortunately, in India, all I can really do is cancel the card itself. Is there no legal forum we can report these people to? Is there no way to blacklist them totally? Oh and I did tell them about karma and payback… maybe I’ll do that often…
I wish I had done a bit search before I placed an order for both Bellegnix and Veloura 14 Free Trail ONY yesterday.
I try to cancel the order same yesterday email [email protected] but up till now have not responded.
I have notify and instructed my bank not to honor payment.
Any information to stop process is highly welcome.
Please HELP!!!
Call your credit card company!
I sent in an order on 20 Dec 2012 and paid via PayPal which went through. I even got order and shipping confirmation but the products never arrived until I sent an email to ask. The customer service only replied me in late Jan and shipped out second week of Feb. I have just received them in the mail. When I went to check my PayPal account there was no record of payment for shipment at all which is puzzling. I’m just wondering if something happened and they had to close down their accounts in a hurry. Even their web address is different now. Now I’m just waiting to see if they will try to charge over the next few days as it’s past the 14 days trial period by now.
this company of Veloura.com is cheating on many people >>> please the owner return our money, and please the authorize find who are they and punished them according to the law
The company’s shit! They still owe me the trial product and I’m charged for the 2nd shipment which has arrived. I know I won’t be able to pursue cos they are covered legally speaking and have no inkling of good customer service. Totally unreliable and untrustworthy company. A pity because the product is really good. Still, this is not worth the stress and unhappiness dealing with crap!
