People who don’t care about the law will break it every chance they get and what’s worse is that, in Canada, namely Ontario we have a prison guard shortage, Correction officers need money too and being that Justin Trudeau government is bailing out everybody and anything including The Chinese Communist Party-controlled World Health Organization, I think Correction Officers nationally are entitled to a pay raise.
With that said, when there’s a shortage of correctional officers, judges are often slow to give long prison sentences, because it costs a lot of money to house, feed and clothe a prisoner, so this often spreads to criminals in Toronto, who do the math in their heads that if they kill a few people, they might get a 30-year prison sentence and serve 12 of those years on good behavior.
I live in Toronto, I grew up with these hoodlums, this is how they think and this is why punishing law-abiding gun owners for crimes done by people who break the law is a dumb concept by a dumb Liberal cabinet. John Tory is will say anything to keep his job, nothing about John impresses me, he’s one of the reasons why I can’t vote for the Conservative Party of Canada.
Although I’m not sure of John Torys’ current party affiliations, I know he used to identify as a Conservative and he, in my opinion, is a horrible leader, I don’t even listen when talks. There is no community programs to help these violent people, you help them by keeping them busy, this is yet another reason why I’m against the minimum wage because now adults compete with teens for jobs!
If a persons first job comes when they’re like 23-24 years old, chances are a large percentage of them will have no job skills and will probably start selling drugs, having children they can’t afford and be a strain on the system, when the public school system fails kids and they have no job skills, they look for something to occupy their time.
Most of the violent kids I grew up with in Toronto had no job or any job skills, many of them didn’t like the public school system which was basically trying to brainwash them into becoming wage slaves and as these wild weeds who probably didn’t have the best parents if any, grew into adulthood, their wondering minds wander into quick-fix solutions to their problems.
Did this or that person look at me wrong? the criminal says to themselves, well, I’m going to shoot them with this illegal gun my homeboy gave to me! I run these streets the criminal convinces themselves! And to a degree these criminals are right because the law-abiding public is not allowed to protect themselves with a gun, it’s illegal to protect yourself with a gun in Toronto and being that Criminals have already done the math and know the justice system, they do what they want and then to make matters worse, there’s also groups and organizations that will help these criminals beat their murder charges!
I’ll stop here because this topic annoys me!
