Russia vs. European Union: President of the European Commission Now Being Forced To Appeal To African Nations NOT to side with Russia – September 13, 2023
The Africa Climate Summit in my opinion, is nothing but a way for the EU to get Africa on board with ESG, which, if we’re to be honest, offers ZERO benefits to Africans.
I’ve been one of the RARE people on the internet writing about the Environmental, Social, and Governance(ESG) in Africa. Most people writing about ESG in Africa don’t have a background in Austrian economics.
ESG in Africa, from my vantage point, is so DEMONIC in its implementation that I can, for the first time in my lifetime, observe in real-time how Russia could realistically become a powerful force in Africa, and there is NOTHING the Europeans can do about it, except for prop up their PUPPET African leaders.
I personally consider ESG a form of FASCISM, and Russians have an excellent track record of extinguishing Fascism. Like or not there are NAZIS in Ukraine, I don’t care if you want to excuse it or justify it, they exist, and it’s not some minuscule minority.
If you know anything about the Nazis and Russia, Russians take Nazis very seriously, as Nazis have destabilized Russia in the past. Yes, Russia has it’s own brand of socialism that I’d argue stunts the Russian economy, but Russia’s economy is actually stronger than the EU.

I’ve been arguing for years now that without the United States, the EU, with most of its members having regressive taxation policies, will have a deflation problem. Most EU countries did not change the structure of their economies when they became EU member states.
This is one of the reasons why economic growth in the EU is so slow. France is a major economy in the EU, and without Africa, France will collapse. Well, because of U.S. and EU sanctions on Russia, Russia, which has always aided Africa in their fight against Western Powers, now APPEARS to be assisting African groups who don’t like the current agenda that ties them to France’s economy.
(Speech by President Ursula von der Leyen at the Africa Climate Summit in Nairobi Kenya)
Now, you might think African nations kicking out France is only a France problem, but what you’re missing is that a lot of these French companies in Africa have ties to EU member states.
If you’re an EU member, you can, for example, avoid certain tariffs. But I remind you that consumers living in the EU pay the tariffs, not the commodity producers. Being that ESG is indeed a TAX and a regulation on fossil fuels, many of which are derived from Africa, African nations may soon realize that they have all the leverage.
With that said, this leverage can only be realized if Puppet African leaders are removed and replaced with leaders who understand how a market economy is supposed to work, and here lies the potential problem with Africa.

Russia’s economy is not large enough to help Africa, and both the EU and Russia are socialist nations/entities that strongly believe in PROTECTIONISM. So if leaders emerge in Africa who are not beholden to France or the EU, the problem then becomes structuring trade relationships that are beneficial to both sides (easier said than done).
There’s no such thing as a one-sided trade relationship, and I think it was the military leader of the coup in Niger; he seemed clueless as to why Africans are being exploited by France.
In Africa, they often confuse capitalism with Imperialism in Africa; the Europeans often exploit Africans’ lack of comprehension regarding PROPERTY RIGHTS, which is the actual reason why Western Nations get rich.
In Africa, it’s not uncommon for an African government to Nationalize or outright steal foreign-owned property. You find this happening in some countries in South America as well. If let’s say I as a foreign business person, build my business in Niger, I spend 10 years building this business, and then one day, the Niger government imagines that I’m exploiting the people of Niger and then decides to CONFISCATE/STEAL or nationalize my business for the good of the people.
Well, then, I, as a businessman and other people who hear about this story, won’t do business in Niger again in our lifetime. Nationalization of Private Property, by the way, is the reason why Cuba. This is a reminder that Cubans did a lot to help Africans also fight the “imperial” powers.
In Africa, as well as most other countries, the failure to comprehend the importance of respecting PROPERTY rights is what leads to poverty, and this is one of the reasons why you’ll have Africans who know France is exploiting them but who will still side with the French government.

Now, with Russia apparently making their presence felt, I find this interesting primarily because of ESG, because Environmental, Social, and Governance(ESG) offers ZERO benefit to Africa, as it will slow its development. But on the flip side, now even I have to admit that because of the stupidity of ESG, Russia may actually be able to compete with the European Union.
Make no mistake about it: the EU welfare state is UNSUSTAINABLE without Africa. France hasn’t a prayer, if Africa turns its back on it, France is a welfare State shit hole, and in France, there are multiple generations of people who are entirely dependent on the welfare state.
Can France do for itself what Africa brings to it on the cheap? Yes, but austerity measures are a very hard sell; I think French people started to destroy things when their leader announced that the national Retirement age would be extended a few extra years; one could only imagine what would happen when their government announced that the welfare state is BROKE.
Interesting times ahead!
