I ordered acaireduce for 1.95 then .99 for another bottle I WANT TO CANCEL MY ORDER FOR LIFESTY .com they charged my debit acct.. 99.00 i did not order this i want this canceled immeediately this and my money returned to my debit card

I do not want the 2 charges of $99.95 and 1 extra charge of $6.95 to my debit account. i did not order this and i want my card refunded immediatly!! I only expect to see one charge of $6.95. That is all that was authorized.

unfortunately I’ve been ripped off as well, I also didn’t authorise this extra $100.30 that was charged to my credit card days after signing up for the free products. There are people like me and my family how just can’t afford this sort of thing to happen, and to make things worse it is only a week away from christmas. It would be nice to be able to make contact with these guys but can’t get through to them on any of their phone nos.

I doubt we will see our money again people, but of course anyone who reads this if you manage to get a refund please let us know how we can do so too. I can tell you I won’t be ordering with my credit card over the internet anymore!

I was told i only had to pay the shipping and handling for my order.( 2.99 } before I even received the order, they charged 99.95 TWICE and 6.95 TWICE, TO MY CRIEDT CARD,. 2 days later i received my packages. I called these people, I was so mad . I TOLD THEM I DID NOT AUTHOPRIZE 2 BOXES, i told them i was going to send them back unopened. they told me it wouldn’t do me any good to send them back.that they were free. the 214.00 was for joining some type of membership… for a year.I never saw any membership meationed in the ad. I knew then and there i had been scammed. Im 74 years old, and only have social security to live on,,, that 214.00 really hurt, i couldn;t pay my bills that month.why does the internets let these people do this.. I can’t get my money back. NEVER AGAIN ! i won’t give my card number to anyone ever again.I hope others see this and doesn’t fall for thier scam.

I too am the victim of this scam.
I ordered a free trial of Acai Reduce plus the colon cleanse. I authorised by debit card a charge for shipping of £4.95. A few days later I received the Acai Reduce but not the colon cleanse. I was also charged £73.00 extra from this company from my account. I tried to call but could not get through. I called the U.K. Distribution centre who said they are nothing to do with the internet and promptly put down the phone. Now the Acai Reduce web site states they are no longer taking orders and have not answered my email.
I am disabled. This company took a weeks disability benefit from me on top of Christmas without my authorisation. I contacted the fraud department of my bank who said they shall investigate over the next two weeks with all the information I can give to assist.
This web site needs to be closed down! I know I will not see my money again but this company needs to be stopped from taking any more unauthorised transactions.

Both of these companies are pure scam sites. If you just try the free trial for 10 days for $6.95 you credit card will be charged in excess of $200. You have ten days to cancel from time of order. So if it is in the mail for a week you have a three days trial. To cancel you have to phone customer service. You will not be able to find the phone number anywhere on their site. When you do track down their number which you can get from your credit card company you will get a recording saying you are customer number 8. If you stay on the line in excess of two hours you will still not be answered.
I don’t understand how these people do not end up in jail for these kinds of scams.

im not sure if this will help but…. what i do is keep the bare minimum of 50.00 or a little moore in seprate accnt they, and when they cant get the money that is for all the (no see-um charges)they are the victom and then you will get letters from them like your screwing them … kinda funny!!! but they dnt get your money!!!! then they contact you and you make the call on what you want and only put in the accnt what you need to cover the bare minimum!! its a little moore wrk but worth it if you shop on line! hope this helps !! good luck and godbless!

I too have been a victim of this fraud £62.42 taken immediately from my credit card instead of $2.95 I too cannot afford this i thought it was a sample to try.. how do they know it would suit so samples I thought was a good idea. I will never use my credit card again on the internet . After reading all these other poor people I think this website should be closed down and investigated but I expect there are many more just prying on the poor and vunrable. I have just been robbed by these thieves 2 x £63.95… the bank says they cannot protect me or reverse the charges…. the bank also said that they have to give this company 30 days notice not to try and take any payments out…

I cancelled within the 3 days as I was supposed to, to not get charged. I found their number on their website and got through no problem. When I did not get the free Acai pills in the mail as I was supposed to, I called them and they made sure they were shipped out. I received them in the mail yesterday. I was never charged anything extra as I cancelled in time. You just need to read the fine print when you order something….. people get scammed cause they don’t read the fine print?

Hi..i was scammed by this company a couple of weeks ago signed up for the trial read the small print,£69.00 was taken out of my account the same day..not giving me the 3 days trail,contacted my bank”Halifax” who were not helpful at all,cancelled my card,and a week later they took the money out regardless of my warnings to my bank,said a represntitive from the company telephoned my bank to say they were a ligit company and they allowed the payment….So angry received the tablets which I have to say are not working…So £70.00 of my Hubbys hard earned cash down the drain..This company should be investicated by the fraud department..

I feel so very upset regarding this acai free trial orders.They said it’s only $9.99 and even in my invoice receipt it’s $9.99 but in my credit card ohhmy gosh it’s $198.00! How could they do this to the people? why they’re not telling the truth? why they sent an invoice ref. of the amount $9.99 but it came out thru the credit card $198.00? I filled in a survey that popped up after online banking regarding using the online banking and rating it, thinking this was authentic i filled it out and opted for the acai reduce tablets that it offered free for taking part in the survey, rather than the teeth whitening it offered. I too was scammed for £68.95 (should have been £3.95) also taken the same day, however i did not scroll down to the bottom of the page, where there is the small box that states after 3 days they will take the extra and again in 30 days. I spoke to the bank who states that i can cancel but it would not be in time to stop the 2nd payment, but protect me if they take another one,(however cannot find an uk number to call, or email address (if anyone can help). This is my own fault, a mistake not to be repeated. The consumer group survey take no responsibility in this, as in their terms & conditions, of which we are all guilty of just ticking the box, as there is to much to read and take in. A harsh lesson learnt, i just hope that a 3rd payment is never taken.

I also got scammed… I sent an email the same day I ordered, got an email 2 days later that said to CALL customer service. I called, they were closed for the weekend. The email didn’t give a timeline in which I had to call and didn’t state any of the restrictions from the website nor did it say to email on weekends nor did it say to go back to the website to get the information. I called Tuesday, to which I was told “too late, it’s been 3 days, buyer beware”. I told them I went through the website with my request and what their email stated, I also told them that nothing on my invoice told me to contact within 3 days to which they said I should have re-read the website and that I any educated person could get the information from there….so I again stated their email back told me to call, didn’t give any further instructions and it was a scam. THey told me ‘too bad – and it isn’t a scam’. So I went through my credit card company who agreed it was shady…and was shocked to hear the person say “any educated person will understand our terms and conditions”. The credit card company said the only fight we have is with the Better Business Bureau. They will however, contact their international credit card office with this complaint. At some point, these people will ahve to be stopped. Both the credit card company and myself heard them say there were no further charges as I canceled everything, so if there are charges the credit company will have something to fight, but for now, my free trial cost me over $400. I don’t know how these people sleep at night. There are so many consumer complaints and the consumers are wrong? Sorry, but I did complain, I did so within the timeline and I still got scammed. It isn’t the consumer that is the problem.

Charged 7.95 for 60 day trial period and printed the invoice for $ 7.95.
They charged $ 195.24 on my credit card. This is fradulent. I sent my invoice to the Charge Back Department of my credit card and they charged back this company for the $ 195.24. I never did receive my product either.
I also cancelled my credit card so they could not charge my credit card again.

Iv been done too, its a advert on the side on your facebook page you go into it , it looks great free trial, you think yeah brill i’ll do it, and then they took £128.00 OUT OF MY BANK nothing i can do the phone numbers are fake and the address i odered mine about 3 months ago, and didnt recive the tablets , yet this morning i recieved them with this address PO BOX 13579, LINLITHGOW, EH49 9AH UK THATS WHERE THE TABLETS WHERE SENT FROM and guess what iv tried to get a phone number and the po box number dose not exsist.

Please please please listen with this kind of product u never never use your bank card for, go and get a chase $20 gift card instead, so that if they try to charge u it will be impossible for them to get more that the $20 that u have on the card

I am a 57year old with breast cancer.Drugs im taking put weight on.Oh how sad i am, still living but worrying about my weight, mostly how im going to live without an income and taken in with “free” trial offer of Acai Reduce just pay £2 99p for postage ect,well guess what, £124 later and a phone number that doesnt connect.i might as well be dead.Why are these people allowed to get away with it and cause so much grief to ordinary people.This money was taken out of my account in a week, how can this happen????????????

I also got a charge to my bank account of 198.00 As soon as I seen this on my account I contacted my bank ( CIBC ) Who were very helpful I am glad to report and they transfered me to the fraud department,Apperentley this sort of thing fallsto the fraud department of my bank.I would assume that cause this was a purchase you didnt authorize it is fraud on you. I got all my money back with in 6 days. Someone did steal my card number to do this but that is how I got all my money back. I contacted the bank got transfered to the fraud department and charged them thru my bank. Hopefully this helps some of you.

I ordered the free trial for $7.95 Canadian Currency – when I received my Visa bill, I was charged $199.95 US currency. This is a ripp-off. What can we do to get our money back. Every time you call, there seems to be a problem with their telephone line.

I ordered the free bottle of AcaiReduce, well I thought it was free, have no idea how they got my credit card #,Now I am being charged $97.oo dollars a month, this has happened twice don’t know about next month. I am going to call and see if they will give my money back but doesn’t sound good from what I am reading. I guess I will cancel the credit card. What a scam, they should be put out of business.

I ordered the ‘free acai berry’ cleansing Dec 2010.

I was charged an initial amount of $160 (was supposed to be $7.95 ). I was then charged another $160 a month later.

I closed my credit card in May and have now had a further $160 removed from my credit card even thought the account was closed

I have just spoken with my bank – they are lodging a dispute against the company on my behalf. You need to email / call / mail the company and demand they cease charging your account. You then need to provide the bank with proof (bill to show outgoing calls / email / copy of letter)that you have tried to cease payments – they can take it from there

This is extremely frustrating however i am with westpac in Australia and they have been great

The bank also advised that once you make a dispute against rock spiders such as these, the automatic payments will cease

Thanks for sharing this information in the event I wanted to ever purchase some of this. I will stay away from that site. I have heard good things about the fruit acai and that you can get it in smoothies @ jambajuice, but other than that I have not tried this related product.
